Our dachshund went to town on her brand new bone, that was about the size of her head, the second she smelled it coming out of the package...gone in 5 minutesWillie World:
After a long exciting day yesterday, Willie spent most of the morning snoozing...until momma came home with some new bones from the pet store! He’s a happy boy today!
That sounds about right haha. We actually had to take away a toy today because after about 15 minutes he chewed the ear off an “indestructible” toy.Sounds like a darn good day!

It’s definitely starting to feel more natural and less awkward. Which in turn makes it less scary .Glad that the straight is starting to feel more normal in your hands. The various grips will become routine to you in short order.
Thanks Tim. I have off until Tuesday so I’m planning on getting in at least one more SR shave before the early morning work shaves force me to stick with DE’s.Nice work with the straight. Just keep practicing and everything will come together.
@BarberDave recommends the denim strop in his SR tutorial. I’ve just never seen a suede strop before so it struck me as odd haha. I’ll give it a shot and see how it goes. I’ve been doing well stropping using a nice leather/nylon strop that @MilkCrate sent me. No nicks so far . I’ve only used it 3 times though haha.Go ahead and use it. I had a strop I made from a leg of an old pair of jeans.
The good news is, that if you forget to flip your blade, you've nicked this strop rather than the good TM one. Stropping requires practice until you learn muscle memory; nicking/slicing a strip WILL happen.
