Shave Time!

Razor:
Fatboy
Blade: Feather
Brush: Mystery Badger
Soap: RR Blue Fougere
AS: Aqua Velva Ice Blue Sport

Excellent shave today. Work has been pretty stressful the last few days, so I decided to get up early this morning and enjoy the shave. The first few strokes were a little on the rough side due to a bad angle but that was quickly remedied. The Mystery Badger is always a great performer and probably my favorite brush. Whips up a great lather and never hogs it!

Work continues to be crazy. Today and tomorrow we are attending our national conference. Normally they would fly all the mangers out to the corporate offices in Chicago, but obviously this year we’ll all be attending via zoom. Should be really fun....🤦🏻‍♂️

Hey, that means you get to roll out of bed a couple minutes before, throw on a business coat, and spike your coffee with Kahlua right?!

Booooooooring. Gear had it right. If you could have been away for a trip, you can do the meeting from home in your boxers.
They actually sent out an email requesting that anyone able to log on from home should do so. They don’t want the day to day to distract anyone. We’re so short handed that I told my boss the best I could do was close my door...

Shave Time!

Razor:
Fat Handle Tech
Blade: Feather
Brush: Stirling Boar
Soap: Stirling Sharp Dressed Man
AS: Stirling Sharp Dressed Man

Pretty decent shave today. Yesterday’s shave with the Fatboy was so good there really wasn’t a ton to mow down this morning, so I opted for the Tech since it’s pretty mild. The Stirling Boar continues to behave. It seems @uacowboy was right in his theory of needing to load a bit more than you would with a synth or Badger.

Last day of the national zoom conference was today. Boooooring. The entire 2 day presentation was geared more towards our sales department than operations, so not much of a takeaway for me. Other than that I’m continuing to barely keep my head above water with a severe lack of staffing. I’m hoping the higher ups realize this and aren’t thinking “Why did we give this guy a promotion???” 😳

I mean...who wouldn't be? It's Mac 'N Cheese!

I am sure they understand. The thing is in the corporate environment, is that if you succeed with the whole "less is more" thing. That's what they will always expect. Hopefully you have good higherups and recognize the hard and important work you are doing.

Bet you’re glad that conference is over! On to bigger n better things’
Nah. Just more work! 🤪

Willie does love some Mac ‘N Cheese!

I know that my boss gets it. He called me the other day just see what exactly the issues are so he can go to bat for me. We’re just extremely short staffed. I have 3 guys working in the right now and I should have 6 at the very least.

Shave Time!

Saturday:
Razor:
Fat Handle Tech
Blade: Feather
Brush: Stirling Boar
Soap: CBL Roasted Oatmeal Stout
AS: Aqua Velva Ice Blue Sport

Sunday:
Razor:
Black Handle Super Speed
Blade: Feather
Brush: Stirling Synth
Soap: ???
AS: Clubman

Couple of good shaves this weekend. Can’t remember the brand of the soap I used yesterday though. It was a hard puck without a container that I put in my Old Spice mug months ago. I don’t remember the maker but the scent is definitely lime forward with a hint of something floral maybe? If I go back in my journal I’m sure I could figure out.

Spent all weekend at work, but the issue we were on the radar for has been resolved. So that’s a plus. Now we’re working on getting the yard organized. When the DMV shut down early on from the pandemic we stopped being able to get rid of cars. This added to an already existing issue with space and we had to put cars anywhere we could. It’s looking a lot better but we still have a lot of work to do.

I got to cut out a little early yesterday, so I was able to make it to my In-law’s for the Eagles/Saints game. Wow was that a surprise! Philadelphia officially had a QB controversy now!

Good job Steve!

We’ve yet to find anything that fazes our dachshund (other then the vacuum)...especially when it comes to getting outside! She loves to run full steam out the back door and search everything!

Willie is the total opposite lol. Ever since he was a puppy, he’s hated going outside. When it’s warm he has taken to sitting in the sun on the front porch the last few years, but that’s about it haha.
