Quick Entry today. Shave 28 & 29. BBS* & BBS*. A little irritation yesterday but none today. Must have been user error. Tomorrow is number 30.

In Other News...
Headed for dinner and drinks with the wife to our favorite local joint.

Shave number 30! This blade stood up to the challenge for sure! DFS+ today as I was a bit lazy and didn’t feel like chasing. The Derby Premium is still delivering a comfortable and close shave with no issues.

I did consider changing the razor up today, but didn’t want to mess up the good juju. In fact, I plan on keeping this loaded in the Game Changer until it finally quits. I plan on getting to know my Fatboys a little better this month, so I’ll keep the Derby Premium loaded GC on call for days I might need a break

In Other News...
Had a good night out at the Pub last night with the missus. Relaxing today and about to watch a documentary on The Rainbow (famed rock club on the Sunset Strip) on Amazon Prime.

Decided this month I’m going to get to know my Fatboys a little better. I currently have 2. One was my Grandfather’s, which I dropped and bent one of the bars but bent back, and the other was received in @dkeester’s Mega PIF. As far as I know that one wasn’t dropped 😂😂😂. I opted to start with that one today.

After searching the internet for about...5 minutes, I found a chart showing blade gap comparisons. According to what I found, setting 5 on a Fatboy is right around where my Game Changer is. My GC has the .84 gap, the 5th setting on a Fatboy is .81. I know there are other factors that go into aggressiveness, but this feels waaaaaay more aggressive than the GC. Again I understand there are other factors, maybe my angle is just off. This is why I’ll be using the Fatboy for a while.

In Other News...
Had a pretty bad SNAFU at work today. It’s fixable but it’s going to cost some money and take some time. Hopefully we can get it done under the radar...

Current status: snoozing! It’s only a matter of time before he randomly wakes up and wants to play fetch for 10 minutes before he goes back to sleep...

I know there’s a lot more to it than the gap, I just figured it was a food place to start.

More like Fatboy for the loss haha. Second shave in today and it just feels wrong. The blade feels like it’s just scraping. I’ll have to try a different one and see if that helps. Otherwise I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. It’s night and day between the Fatboy and the Game Changer.

Second attempt with the Fatboy and I decided To drop to setting 3. Same results. Lots of irritation and just a generally uncomfortable shave. Felt more like scraping than shaving. I’ll try to swap the blade out, maybe it’s a dud. If that doesn’t help I don’t know what to try. Maybe I’m just not meant to use a Fatboy 🤷🏻‍♂️

In Other News:
Watched about half of a ZZ Top documentary last night on Netflix. Billy Gibbons is too cool for school. He’s also a bad, bad man on the guitar. Might be my new obsession, so I’ll probably be learning a bunch of ZZ Top now lol. Naturally I had to go with Sharp Dressed Man today!
