20 shaves with the Derby Premium. This baby’s going the distance! 2 days with the Yuma was able to calm my face down from the Fatboy irritation the other day. I need to dedicate some time to working on finding a good angle with the Fatboy.
The Derby Premium is really surprising me with how well it’s still shaving. No signs of quit in it yet.

22 shaves in and still killing it! Shave number 21 was a true BBS, no asterisk needed. 22 was close, but there were a few spots on the jawline that I must have missed, user error. This blade is really surprising me.
In Other News...
The issues at work with the lazy employee have taken a strange twist. She took over my old position which was the Lead Title Clerk at the branch. The main responsibility is processing the titles for all the cars that come in. Each insurance company has a section in their contract that states what the time frame is that this has to happen in. The woman that took over for me wasn’t meeting these contractual obligations. But instead of firing her, or demoting her....we promoted her. Yup she’s getting promoted but to another unit that doesn’t fall under our responsibility. Now she’s someone else’s problem! The downside is, now I have to do my old job and my new job until we find someone to replace her. A new hire that starts in 2 weeks is looking like a promising candidate, but in the meantime work is really gonna suck!

Cruising along with the Derby Premium. Still smooth and efficient. No irritation and a DFS+ shave. Can it go the distance? I really think so.
Today the high was 56 so I decided to break out a different scent. I’ve been trying to save some of my more spring/summer times scents for the warmer weather, and I’ve classified V for Vetiver as one of those. I’m not sure what Vetiver is supposed to smell like, but I get a fresh and clean vibe from it. My wife said it smells like plastic. So who knows if either of us are even close!

I was Very happy to welcome this crew back into my living room today.
Baseball is back. We’re also 3 weeks out from our annual trip down to spring training. Can’t wait!
A little bit of a bummer is that we think our fridge is on its way out. So we may be appliance shopping soon.

Got a call from a potential real estate client tonight. A buddy that I helped buy a house over the summer referred them. I haven’t been doing much with real estate for a while. Gonna be tough to find time but it’ll be nice to get back out there again.

Thanks Tim! I was considering giving up the real estate thing this year. Last year wasn’t a great one for me in that arena, but I made enough doing it to pay all my fees for this year. I figured if I can get one or 2 deals done it’s worth keeping my license current.
