@dangerousdon I'll be a human plank app if you want. I've tortured taught people with planks for years!

Here do this

Plank

Side Plank

Table

Do each twice, hold until it just starts to feel, time it or count it in your head and record your results here.

Okay! You are on! I'll start today!

I think my exertion for the day will be going thru my stacks of soaps to arrange and select the soaps for each day of the April theme shaves ( @dangerousdon ) and then marking them on the calendar. I'll try to get it done today but don't want to overdo it and pull a muscle either.......
Priorities...right?

One of the people I listen to and read a good bit (Ashleigh VanHouten) is going to do a pull-up challenge in the near future. So I am thinking about building a DIY pull-up bar. Probably something in the neighborhood of what this guy did.

@dangerousdon Be careful with the pull ups if you haven't been doing them regularly. We get lots of guys with elbow tendonitis from doing too many too fast.

I started the day with 30 minutes on the elliptical. God, I hate the elliptical.

I really have to drag my butt outside and go for a run. I also took the opportunity to have a conference call by walk this morning. I'm on my cell phone anyway, so I just went out and did 45 minutes. It sure beat sitting in the basement!

Ellipticals always feel weird to me, almost like running backwards.

Back in the day I had a NordicTrac man that was actually a fun and fantastic aerobic machine. Sad they don’t make them now.

For me, I hate the timer. I would rather be running for distance, ending up at whatever time it takes (I'm slow, do the math), instead of some clock ticking down way too slowly while I don't go anywhere. That goes for treadmills and stationary bikes too. When my left knee finally goes and I have to get it swapped out, I may be consigned to them for my exercise, but until then, I need to make a greater effort right now to move my lazy self outside the house. That should get easier with the weather change, but Mother Nature isn't making things easy in my neck of the woods lately.

I hear you! The rowing machine is kind of nice that way, since it’s more natural to go by distance, but it isn’t the same thing as actually being outside for sure.
