Spider-Man’s shave VLOG

Good stuff KJ! Looks like you did pretty good with the bum hand.

I appreciate the honest review on the coconut oud!

Geez that first pass the fatboy was a SE not a DE!

Also watching glad to say I'm ambidextrous.

I think I need to try what you did with some of my samples I have laying around... I have so many!

I've been working on my franken soap for about two years now...maybe I'll pull mine out soon!

I'm In! Oh wait...this is the wrong thread?

First and foremost, Thank You for sharing with us your feelings. There are many of us who are grateful for people like you. So don't feel unappreciated. I think a lot of people...especially around here...don't want to enter PIFs because we have been the recipient of much generosity. We don't want to seem greedy or want people to think we take advantage of others. But knowing how you feel really helps us know where you are coming from.

It looks like the left handed shave is suiting you well. I think you need to add a blindfold now!

A thought...you are definitely the After Shave guru around here...I would love to see some of your thoughts on types of after shaves and your favorites!

Happy Fourth of July!

I'm IN...............................................Just Kidding. You just NAILED my feelings exactly on the pif's. Love it when people post "I'm IN" and the pif is ended.....if they'd just read the last post or 2 they'd see members congratulating the winner and know it's over but I see it as pure laziness. That said, I don't enter a lot and am guilty of commending someone doing one and saying "not in" just because I feel I'm not in NEED and others may benefit more. I do see people that are in about every pif I read and have seen them win MANY. I myself have been recipient of blades offered or a sample offered but all on the side. Never really won a pif but as I said don't have a need at this point after nearly 10 years shaving this way and never wanted to appear greedy. I don't see a problem with moving your resolution over to here, but keep in mind the field of participants does narrow because of membership size here at the moment. I'll try to be supportive and enter

I totally get that, but even so, unbelievably, I think I’ll get more people signing up here than I did over there.

I have already said this but I”ll mention it again. I won one of your PIFs and it was awesome. The rules required me to find and post a graphic of Spider-Man, there were so many different pictures posted but none were as cool as my fat guy dressed in the black Spider-Man costume. I truly hope you find the banter and enjoyment you seek by posting PIFs here on the TSC forum.

I often skip a PIF because I have everything being PIFd OR feel like I have something so similar it wouldn’t be fair. One of the hardest things for men to do is accept a gift with no strings attached.

I get that. And I rarely sign up for PIFs myself. But if it’s something I’m really interested in trying, I still will.

I also understand proples feelings on accepting gifts. A lot of people feel greedy for signing up for PIFs. But there’s no need to.

I just want people to see that PIFs are not just good for the recipient, but they are good and enjoyable to the PIFer as well. At Christmas-time, I always enjoy giving gifts better than receiving them. Same goes for PIFs. It’s good for the soul! So please, don’t be shy when a PIF is offered.

I’ll speak up as the blessed recipient of a few PIFs since joining the other place and here.

I have to say that the gracious spirit of generosity of the traditional shaving community in general is staggering. The vast majority of things gifted me are things I’ve never have been able to accumulate on my own in the position I’m in. I’d still be at a couple razors and soaps/AS otherwise, not that that is at all a bad way to enjoy the journey.

It was wonderful fun to be able to host my own PIF and push the entrants to make it something fun. It is great to be able to make that decision and be that blessing to another.

If I don’t enter a PIF, it’s because it’s something that I know I probably would not enjoy as much as someone who is really interested in what’s being offered. I do try to be selective about it and evaluate my own participation in that way, regardless of the giver’s spirit of wanting to gift, it’s part of my own conscience to be cautious and not overly take advantage of opportunities just because they are there.

I know I entered a couple of your PIFs at the other place KJ and they were all fun and in good spirit, win or not. I mostly just impressed with and admired your drive to give back throughout the whole year. Keep at it man!

I totally understand your sentiments on PIFs. I think I will need to enter just for a chance to win that blade bank. I have no idea where I would put it, but it is too darn cool not to throw a hat in the ring.

What Blade Bank?

Well after going and looking at the PIF thread I stand corrected. I thought it was a blade bank... nope just a COOL car! Alright I will still need to enter. I am looking over the rules. But I think I need coffee first!

Thank you, I enjoy your videos, and I enjoyed this one. Knowing your thought process about pif’s changed my mind about entering yours. I won one pif a couple of months ago & felt I needed to give others a chance to win. I commend you for your giving back to the community mentality, and your desire to give from the heart. I also like how you have stipulations to entering in order to generate banter! As a result, I am going to enter on the pif thread.

And on another note, not bad left-handed! It’s amazing how dependent we become with one hand or the other, good luck with your recovery. I hope it’s nothing serious & you fully recover soon.

When I watch your videos I'm reminded of a youtuber, I forget who he is now, but he run a shaving company I believe. He always wore a bandanna over his hair and had a deep voice. But it seemed like he should shave with anything, with big fast passes and never had an issues with razor burn. Maybe that's your Spidey power. Nice work on the off-hand shaves.
