I have Eau Sauvage on the Christmas list, along with the Homme and Homme Parfum. Keep hearing about their legendary statuses and am hoping to snag em all eventually.

I’ve only tried the generic Sauvage…it was a middling powdery plurply blue-ish frag. Well mixed so as I couldn’t really find any notes but not anything special. Good for the office in that case I guess.

As har as Dior Homme and the Parfum - very heavy on the iris - Prada L’Homme is a less expensive take to see if you are an Iris fan

I love love love Eau Sauvage - It is extremely old school. - beyond Drakkar Noir. if you like Barrister & Mann Le Grand Chypre then I think Eau Sauvage EdT would be to your liking. The Parfum is very old school as well but not bright - leans more towards Azzaro Pour Homme that you recently bought

In my opinion, Stirling really knocked it out of the park this year with their black Friday releases! This soap and aftershave very very nice pick me up, very bright and that mint it’s just perfectly complementing the other two scents. I went with a lavender forward cologne to wrap up the shave.

Today Aidan has music therapy and will be practicing for his holiday recital

have a great day cadre!

Fun shave set today Brian!

Is Aiden’s recital a normal holiday mish mosh or is there a specific thing they’re doing?

I had the matching splash that I broke accidentally in my den - which still smells like candy cane after more than a week. Stirling to the rescue! I’m still getting the hang of boar brushes - although this is one of my first brushes - I have difficulty face lathering with it - but still a good brush.

Today will be my first trip to an office since COVID started - and unfortunately it’s the office that’s the furthest away - darn the luck. Here’s to patience in the DC Beltway!

Have fun on the return-to-office adventure. My wife was slated to go back at the start of Jan, but they have now pushed that back due to Omicron. I'm more than happy to have her at home and she's more than happy for the extra 2 hours of sleep.
I‘m lucky in that this is just to pick up some equipment and then it is back to remote work. Honestly - For employers that don’t need onsite staff - I don’t know why we just don‘t stay this way - all that money they could save not leasing office space.

Though I do have friends that need that in person element - I’m not one of them
