Nah, no need. The "Rustic" formula soaps are really good as well. I have the Black Amber Vanille in the vegan base and it's great.

I did indeed - long story short - bought it for a prop for some gag shave then didn’t pay attention to how big it really was - almost had to buy all of Maggard‘s stock to fill the bottle
I don't know Brain...people are congratulating you...but to me this sounds like an ambush...run away I say...run away!Today - I take in a new role at work - leading some senior architects, security, and documentation specialists on a project that is getting behind. The VP called me on Friday night and said he needed a grownup in the room (to wit I thought - are you sure you’re coming to the right person) - then he said - what I really need is someone not afraid to be the bad guy (ok, now it makes sense)-because the schedule can’t slip. The good news is that I don‘t know anyone on the team - so I don’t have any allegiances to any group - which it will make it easier to make decisions because I know whatever decisions I make - two of three groups will hate me

Double shave today because I didn’t make time the last two days. Luckily the all the scents mesh! The WSP Neroli really reminds me of 4711 (go figure). I am really impressed with the Razorock Hawk v3 - such a great razor!
Things are busy at work, but I’m enjoying the new role! Just need to remember peoples names - there are like 5 Johns and 3 Toms - so that is a challenge

Really enjoyable shave to end the week - this is a collaboration with SGS. Scent is a really nice MODERN take on a barbershop - it isn’t in the same genre as your classics, but definitely in the same family - and it is appropriate to call it a barbershop scent. It is different than other modern takes - it doesn’t have the heavy powdery notes like Zingari Man The Gent nor the sweet citrus like 345 Fresh Cut Fade. Here is the scent description from Happyland:
Barbershop is a classy and sophisticated homage to nostalgic times, to the scent of clean shaves and fragrant tonics that wafted from the crisp collars of the dapper elite in society. A shot of soapy ambroxan weaves its way through a heart of warm lavender, soft musk, rich leather, a hint of spicy pepper, and a dash of bitter oranges. You don't have to wear a shirt and tie with this fragrance, but you might be tempted to anyway, once you get a whiff of this classic aroma.
It is nicely blended so no one note sticks out, but you do get that overall sense of getting your haircut or shave.
The frag is a again a modern spin on the classics - in the same family of classic gentlemanly fragrances like Eau Sauvage - but much more subtle in it’s presentation and silage. So like the soap, hits all the check marks from it’s genre and intention but there is no mistake - this is a modern scent not a classic.
The top notes of this fragrance are an invigorating blend of bergamot, grapefruit, and lemon. These are the light scents that remain for only the first few hours after application. After the scintillating top notes fade, the middle notes of lavender and clary sage take over followed by base notes of cedarwood, ylang-ylang, and amber.

I was very pleasantly surprised with The Whole experience - the lather was fantastic and the scent was ever present but not overpowering
Then they grow up, move out, and you're back to square one. Not to worry though, one or two of them may move back every so often.See you’re not there yet, but for me - that’s what my teenagers are for - a few “but dad” whines still beat having to do the work
