Feather DX Kamisori
Omega Boar
LNHC Bay Rum
LT VC / B&M Bay Rum

Today has started to be a much better day. The shave went very well. Yesterday, I forgot to put Alum on my fingers and nothing felt secure. Today, I remembered and oh the difference it makes. 2 passes and I am DFS+. The LNHC gave me a wonderfully slick surface to skate around on. And the scent of this Bay Rum is one of my favorites. I really need more space in the bathroom to be able to keep more soaps. I never remember to grab a different one in the mornings. The B&M is also a great take on it. Not pure Bay Rum, but very nice.

Happy Good Friday everyone. The kids are going to a couple Easter egg hunts today. Tomorrow, we have the Pinewood Derby. Then Sunday, I get to help teach at church. Should be a busy, but very good weekend.

Good shave Don. Have fun at the Pinewood Derby my son and I had a blast at ours, and we already started planning next years car, LOL

Nice couple of shaves Don!

Have fun at the pinewood derby!
Thanks. We will.

Nice shave Don. Your weekend makes me think of the after-Easter tradition of egg salad sandwiches ?

Thanks. That sounds delicious.

If I would have done that, we would have been contenders. But we lost by about 1/4 second. No big deal. We had fun. I will make us better prepared next year. All of the packs in our district race at the same track year after year and one of the kids in our pack set a track record.

Our pack owns the track literally and we took home 14 of the trophies at our district race so we owned it there too I guess

you gotta do it and I let mine run on the treadmill for a hour or so to burnish the axles

lol, never heard of the treadmill trick

Good Stuff Don, Glad the Kami is working well for you and sounds like you have been having some fun

OK. Catch up post.

Yesterday, my son walked in right before my shave so I let him pick out my hardware.

GEM Featherweight - GEM Personna
Made Rite 1000
HeV Cognac and Cuban Cigars
LT VC / Chatillon Lux Unconditional Surrender

I did find out that I do not enjoy the Featherweight as much as the Shovelhead. It felt like it was irritating my face during the shave. Afterwards though, there was no irritation at all and I was BBS+.

This morning, when I got up, I was CCS-DFS everywhere. I considered not shaving, but with helping at church, I thought it best to be as smooth as possible.

Feather DX Kamisori - Proguard (6)
Stirling Synthetic
CBL Russian Tea
LT VC

I grabbed the DX again today. I have to say, I don't think I am going to be buying an AC system. This was the end of the blade. I ended up BBS-, but it was a lot more work than previously to get it to that level. And on my chin, it pulled a lot and left me with quite a few weepers. This is many less shaves than Chad recently got with the proguard, but I get less than average with their DEs too. I think it does give great shaves, but I will stick with my straights and GEMs. The GEM is one that gives 20+ easy BBS shaves/blade. And the straights, they are just plain fun.

A la Mancha, this weekend was very busy, but fun.
