LOL, awesomeI know I must have said something to her she disagrees with when she walks out of my office and says, "by the way I threw something away the other day, have you figured out what it is yet?"

It's interesting to see what becomes important over time I think. Brushes I still think I'm not too picky about, but soaps, as I some across more that are higher performers, I question what's the point in using those that aren't top notch.Ever since trying the Nuavia the other day, I have really started rethinking the performance of all my other soaps.
I try to get rid of things as time goes on, but I have one drawer that I am notorious for avoiding.Nice read Don. And I am sadly that guy at the office. My office is a mess. Everything else in my life is kept clean and pretty much clutter free. But my office is full of papers I try to go through it occasionally but usually fail. My admin assistant always gives me a hard time, and I know I must have said something to her she disagrees with when she walks out of my office and says, "by the way I threw something away the other day, have you figured out what it is yet?"
Most of mine have one redeeming quality or another. But I see myself thinking the heard as I acquire more. It's interesting to see what becomes important over time I think. Good luck breaking in the new guy; teach him right!
Thanks guys. I think he will do OK.Great shave, Don. Good luck breaking in the new guy.

Right now, the only emotional attachment to a soap that I have is Stirling. It was my first soap. Luckily, it is also a top performer. But all the ones in my den have a purpose. They aren't all on the same level of performance. The other Don...
There are some soaps that I keep around even though I know there are much better ones. Sometimes it's an emotional attachment (yes you can have an emotional attachment to a soap), other times there is an aspect of the soap that is just unique. By and large though, I feel the same as you...there are better out there..I just need to find them all.
No big deal about the other day. I am chalking it up to a bad blade. I will try again with a new one soon. I did get a good one today.Sorry to hear about the irritation the other morning, but it sounds like you got a very good shave this morning out of the C&CC.
Square guard Shovelhead / GEM Personna

Stirling Naked and Smooth

I just went with a GEM shave today because I had to be ready by 6. It was an easy 3 pass BBS. Tomorrow will be a shave with the Feather DX Kamisori. I did try out the Lucky Tiger Disappearing Cream. First impressions are that the menthol level are about the same and the scent strength of this is lighter than the Vanishing Cream. It may be a little better face feel, but that may also be because how good the shave was. Will do more testing.
I only have the vanishing cream. The disappearing cream was sent to me to compare them. I will see what I can do with the vanishing though. Can you take a selfie after applying vanishing and disappearing creams? Pictures or it didn't happen!
ThanksNice shave.
