You guys! Alright, someone link me to what I should buy.

I bought a vintage Type M adjustable on the bay for 11$ and change including shipping. At the time there seemed to be more that were not adjustable up for sale and there are several New ones that take the injector blades. I honestly thought if I buy the adjustable one I can dial in my level of aggressiveness and maybe wont need more than one of these razors.

I bought mine on the bay too. It is a type G and came with 100 blades. I ended up getting it for $37. The type is the time period it was made during. Mine is from the early 50s. I have heard that the older the type the more aggressive it is. I do not know if that is true though. If you want a new stainless version, I know Mongoose and Supply Provision make them. The latter also sells base plates with different levels of aggression.

mine didn't come with blades but a very kind gentleman Blade4vor pif'ed me a handful of NOS blades. when these are gone I will probably grab 100 or so from somewhere.

Alright, I looked on eBay, I still think they are ugly as sin.
Just think of it as the ugly duckling. Except this one turns you into the Swan.

Everready Round Guard Shovelhead - GEM Personna (7)
Stirling Synthetic
Lisa's Natural Herbal Creations Bay Rum
LT VC / Captain's Choice Lime

This GEM is still the king of my den. No doubt about it. Of course, it could just be that I haven't found the best blade for me in the injector too. This blade in the GEM just feels sharper. The injector gives a great shave too, but this razor just works better for me. If I were to use AZ Dave's old system, this was a 3 pass DSBBSG. I am unsure of the other things he uses now, but some of those qualifiers would probably be thrown in too. I have only smelled 4 bay rums, but this one has got to be my favorite. It is really too bad she doesn't make it any more.

A la Mancha, I tried to take her out last night, but she refused, she just wanted to stay in and have an easy dinner. She wanted to have cheese, raw veggies and popcorn while watching a movie as a family. It was her night, so I obliged. She then wanted to take the kids on an ice cream run in their pajamas. So we went out and got some shakes. It was a good night. The kids got to bed a little later than normal, but not too bad. They got up this morning without too much fuss.

You can never go wrong with Ice Cream!

I saw the pics you were tagged in with the kids. Sounds like the perfect evening for sure!
