Close Enough*
About a full work day of use so far and I have to say I'm officially hooked. The only down side is, the cartridge that came with the pen is about half empty already!

PERFECT, now go give Willie some snacks
Thank you sir!Next step is a converter and bottle of ink, and welcome to the FP club!
I got some J.Herbin and Diamine samples and they are awesome! Smooth writing and easy on the pen. Easy to clean up as well. I really don't write anywhere near enough to justify any sort of pen, so samples are plenty for me...Thank you sir!
The Metro came with a converter but it’s not the Con 40 that @CBLindsay was telling me about in a previous post. I’ve also been checking out inks. I’m probably going to pull the trigger on some Noodler’s Bad Belted Kingfisher.
I fill out vehicle titles all day at work so I write a lot. Maybe more than is practical for fountain pen use lol.I got some J.Herbin and Diamine samples and they are awesome! Don't really see why. I have a a Platinum 3776 and actually got tired of scribbling trying to run the converter empty to try a new sample ink.I fill out vehicle titles all day at work so I write a lot. Maybe more than is practical for fountain pen use lol.
Maybe the medium nib on the Metro flows the ink a little faster? If that’s even a thing lol?Don't really see why. I have a a Platinum 3776 and actually got tired of scribbling trying to run the converter empty to try a new sample ink.
I think my metro is a fine, but my platinum is an extra fine. I do belive the converter holds quite a bit more ink than the cartridges in the metro though. I can get quite a bit more from the platinum than what any difference a nib size should make.Maybe the medium nib on the Metro flows the ink a little faster? If that’s even a thing lol?
That would make sense. The cartridge might not have been completely full either, I didn’t really pay attention before I put it in. I do want to grab a fine or extra fine nib at some point. I need to figure out what’s compatible in this pen though.I think my metro is a fine, but my platinum is an extra fine. You just like using the word "Platinum" I googled it. Sharp pen. What color yo get?I think my metro is a fine, but my platinum is an extra fine. It's a black model 3776 with gold trim and gold nib. I'll get some pics up soon. (need to clean it...You just like using the word "Platinum" I googled it. Sharp pen. What color yo get?
