He had the position and had it early. But he wanted the W early. If he stayed patient and NOT lose his advantageous position he would have won.
This for sure, he lost that under hook and it was over...

The TSC Sumo Eye has you covered, it looked like this from above. It's like NHK forgot that they have the overhead cameras until the end of the day and only used them to show Bow Twirling.... Come on, it would have been awesome to see the Wakamotoharu v. Hokuseiho match from above!
Question. He has 33 wins over the last 3 Bashos, which is the requirement, but two of those wins were by Fusenshō, so does that matter?that should seal Kiribayama making Ozekie
Only needs to be wins in the sanyaku. So komosubi wins count. The fusensho wins technically are a potential issue, but they really need another Ozekie, and he won the yusho as part of the 33 so that helps.Question. Also, he's only been Sekiwake for two of those. Does he need those 33 wins to all be while in that rank?
Ah. ThanksOnly needs to be wins in the sanyaku
Of course he still has 3 matches and can make those fusensho wins a non-issue.The fusensho wins technically are a potential issue
