Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Going with some relaxing, ambient music for your Sunday. Hope you enjoy.

Great shave today. Had thought about skipping today since I had a late shave yesterday, but the new soap from The Cajun Blade landed yesterday and decided to give it a try. @Graybeard57 posted so many positive things about them, I had to try them out. I ordered the "Old #2" shave soap. Great scent with notes of sandalwood, patchouli and leather which gives the soap a sense of rustic masculinity. Great lather built with the Simpson "Chubby" 1 Manchurian Badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the Gillette British No.58 and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by Aqua Velva "Musk" aftershave cologne.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Went out today and finished up Christmas shopping for the wife and put up the outdoor Christmas decorations. Stopped by the vape store where I normally shop. They have a great military / veteran discount. The owner, Ali is from Yemen originally and we had a great conversation. He's invited my wife and I over for dinner sometime. Great guy. Gonna try to make it happen sometime after the holidays.

Hope you have a great day. :)

Buying them. I’ve made them before and it is a LOT of work. There’s a restaurant close by that make and sell them. Supporting a small, local business and saving myself a lot of work, mess and clean up? Win, win!
Thats awesome i have to purchase them from “Freakin Rican” out of New York. We have tried making them as well but the right ingredients are hard to find. We make Pernil every year as well as Arroz con Pollo, Tostones, alcapuria and dulce de coco

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Kicking off the workweek with a couple from one of my favorite guitarists, Mark Lettieri. Hope you enjoy.

Great shave today. I've had this soap for a while but only got around to trying it out for the first time today. Epsilon's "03 Amber" splash is the closest I've found to what Floid used to be. More specifically, the Spanish "Mentolado Vigoroso" version. That one has always been my favorite. The soap has the same great scent. Great lather built with the Zenith B28 boar brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the Gillette British No.58 and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by the matching aftershave splash and Acqua Di Parma "Colonia Intensa" EdC .

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Chilly morning. First time this fall I've really had to give my truck windows a good scraping.

Hope you have a great day. :)

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Going with a couple from 80's greats, Men At Work today. Hope you enjoy.

Great shave today. Returned to Barrister and Mann and their seasonal release, "Vespers" soap and splash. Great scent and fantastic lather built with the Brad Sears "Gus" 2-Band Badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '56 Gillette "Gold Tip" and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by the matching aftershave splash and Burberry's "London for Men" EdT .

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Even colder this morning (25°)! Had to break out the big coat. Windy too which prevented the need for window scraping. It's definitely feeling like Christmas!

Hope you have a great day. :)
