Going with a couple from rock legends, The Who today. Hope you enjoy.
Great shave this morning. Keeping with the "lime" theme, I returned to ETHOS Grooming Essentials and Frank's "Fresco" shave soap and skin food. Great lime-forward scent with hints of basil and spearmint. Very refreshing aroma blend! Super thick and slick lather built with the Simpson "Chubby" 2 Super Badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the Gillette Aristocrat and I finished with the matching skin food splash & Creed "Erolfa EdP.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Not a great night's sleep again. However, a great shave and hot coffee are helping.

It's "Women of Rock Wednesday" and today I'm going with a couple of songs with the word "girls" in the title. Hope you enjoy.
Great shave this morning. Returned to Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements and their "4711" homage, "11235" shave soap. Classic 4711 scent with incredible lather built with the Paladin "Mandarin" 2-band Select Badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the RazoRock Game Changer and I finished with Muelhens "4711" aftershave splash & EdC.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Better night's sleep last night although had some pretty weird dreams to go along with it. Last day in the office until next Monday. Gonna enjoy it as much as possible with being on-call and forecasted 105° to 108° heat indices through the weekend.

Incredible scent with wonderful lather built with the Simpson "Chubby" 1 Manchurian badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the Gillette Fatboy and I finished with the matching aftershave lotion & vintage Avon "Brisk Spice" EdC.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Just getting back from festivities with the in-laws. It's disgustingly hot and miserable here. Normally we stay later to watch fireworks but after a few hours, we'd both had enough. I'll just watch it on TV later..

Wonderful light, soapy scent with incredible lather built with the Simpson "Chubby" 2 Manchurian badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the Gillette Super Speed and I finished with Czech & Speake "Cuba" aftershave splash & EdC.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Well, so much for a quiet, relaxing holiday weekend. Had a line of storms come through yesterday morning with a LOT of lightning. Worked about 5.5 hours over yesterday and 3.5 hours so far today.

Great shave this morning. I skipped yesterday due to Saturday's rather late shave, so today's was extra nice! Returned to ETHOS Grooming Essentials and Frank's excellent "Shave MD" shave soap & skin food. Wonderfully crisp, and effervescent lemon-lime soda scent, with incredible lather built with the Wild West Brushworks "REM Cycle" Sweet Spot badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the Gillette Fatboy and I finished with the matching skin food splash & Acqua di Parma "Colonia" EdC.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Whew! Glad the weekend's over! Ended up with close to ten hours OT between Saturday and Sunday.

Great shave this morning. Returned to Taylor of Old Bond Street and their excellent "Grapefruit" shave cream. Wonderfully sharp, tart grapefruit scent, with excellent lather built with the Paladin "PK-47" 2-band badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the Gillette Aristocrat and I finished with Master Soap Creations "Grapefruit Zest" aftershave tonic.
