Didn't go for the polyester suit, but do colorful polyester shirts count? I found that the chicks really dug 'em.
Absolutely!!!

Good morning Cadre! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Let's get some music going this morning with some funk-rock from Mr. Lenny Kravitz! Hope you enjoy.

"Budget Friendly Shaves - Day 7"

Very good shave this morning. Not as nice as yesterday's but still good. Like, the C.O. Bigelow cream, it's been a while since I last used Van Der Hagen. Still had some of the old style soap before they went all "upscale". This is the VDH Deluxe soap with aloe and shea butter. Very lightly scented and the lather was a bit airy, but very slick. Two passes (+ touch-up) with the Model T and I finished with a splash of Clubman "Musk" and a spray of Rochas "Moustache" EdT.

Hope you have a great day. :)

Man, haven’t seen Lenny in ages! I did enjoy his style though, as brief as his music career was.

Hello Cadre! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Getting some music going this morning with the "King of Pop", Michael Jackson. Hope you enjoy!

Fantastic shave this morning. Went with RazoRock and their Acqua di Parma "Colonia" inspired "What the Puck - Gold Label" soap and "xXx" splash. Wonderfully slick and fragrant lather produced with the Semogue Premium Boar Taj brush for two passes with the Imperium Shaving custom razor. I ended up swapping out the stock (Parker?) head for a RazoRock "Mamba 70". MUCH better shave that with the original head. I finished with the aforementioned splash and a generous dousing of Acqua di Parma "Colonia" EdC.

Hope you have a wonderful day.

Good morning Cadre! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Getting some music going for your Thursday with the "Jewish Elvis" himself, the one and only Neil Diamond. Hope you enjoy!

Another fantastic shave this morning. Went back to Stirling and their Creed "Original Santal" inspired "Intrepid Man" soap and splash. Wonderfully slick and fragrant lather produced with the new QED Select Mancurian ST badger brush for two passes (+ touch-up) with the '68 Gillette Slim and finished with the matching splash and several sprays of Creed "Original Santal" EdP.

Hope you have a great day. :)

Good morning Cadre and happy Friday! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Getting some music going for your Friday with some funky soul from Canton, Ohio greats, The O'Jays. Hope you enjoy!

Great shave to close the workweek. Went with Maggard Razors' bespoke line of shave soaps, more specifically "London Barbershop". The scent may be a generic but the lather it produces is exquisite! Very slick, dense and provides a lot of cushion. Two passes (+ touch-up) and I finished with some Proraso "Refreshing & Toning" ASB and a generous dousing of Versace "Versace Pour Homme" EdT.

Hope you have a great day. :)

Hello Cadre! Hope you're having a great weekend.

First, tunes!! Nice, windy and warm here today. Makes me feel all "Yacht Rocky" so here's a couple from Pablo Cruise.

Great shave to both start the new month and finish up the Budget Shave appreciation theme. Started where I left off with Stirling, this time going with "Deep Blue Sea". Two passes with the excellent lather whipped up with the "REM Cycle" sweet spot badger and I finished with the matching splash and a spray of Chanel "Bleu de Chanel" parfum.

Hope you're having a great day. :)

Nice, windy and warm here today.
We got up to 67F/19C. We're still under a heavy wind warning. Wind gusts today hit 60mph/97kph. A couple of them sounded like a freight train rumbling through. Our power, cable and internet are intact, so that's good.

Glad it didn't do any damage. Think our highest gust today was around 45mph/72.5kph. Nearly 80°F/27C. It was nice!

Just got back from dinner tonight with my wife. Nice local seafood restaurant called "Top of the River". Walk along the edge of Lake Guntersville followed. We had a great time.
