Good morning everyone! Continuing with the Bay Rum theme. Zingari Man's "The Nomad" is an interesting take on the scent. A sweeter, lime-based BR with less spice. Finished with some Layrite No. 9 which is a traditional BR mixed with some Stirling Lime mentholated splash.

Scored another 1966 Slim Adjustable also. Arrived yesterday. Great condition! Cleaned it with some scrubbing bubbles and gave it a bath in Barbicide. Guess I'm on my way toward getting one from each year of production!

Good morning Cadre! Another stormy day here in the south. Looks like we may be getting a head-start on the Spring storm season. I don't mind if it means warmer weather. As I've said in an earlier post, once upon a time I loved winter! Now, age coupled with the fact that I have to get out and work in it more often has turned me against it. Hope everyone has a great day and if you're in the cross-hairs for any inclement weather, stay safe!

Good morning all! Hope everyone had a pleasant night! For today's shave I used a sample I received with the CBL "Sir Fougere" soap I ordered. It was labeled as "Bay Rum" but I could detect nothing in the scent even remotely close to what I consider BR. In fact, as seems typical with most CBL soaps, there's barely any scent at all. The shave went well but more work needs to be done on this one.
