Just a guy who shaves.

This was my first brush fix, kinda rough, but it was $1.25 with free shipping, nothing to loose if I killed it.

As received.

It was difficult at the time to find many large boar knots, I got this from TGN that claimed to be 27mm.

Cut it open.

And it wasn't a pretty sight.

So I made a tapered ring to make it fit.

Not glued in yet.

I think it came out pretty good.

Looks kinda fugly, but that is one glorious boar brush to use!

Fine engineering! :p
Amen! That ring is a stroke of genius and looks like it's manufactured that way.

I beg to differ... that boar isn't any uglier than other boars. They're just not pretty knots, imo. They're functional and they'll look darn good with a nice pile o' lather dripping off of them. [emoji1]

Awesome job!

Loving the work you are doing on those vintage brushes? They all turn out really great!

Used that razor and a Wontshed brush today.

The hair looks terrible in that pic, someone mist have left it sitting in a mug for years and it just hasn't straightened out yet, looks much better in "person".

Fantastic shave today, as always.
