Interesting comparison of the razors, Pat. When trying to decide on a new product at a higher price point, I'll ask myself if it is x amount of dollars better. If the answer is yes, I'll likely buy it. If not, I probably won't. Never tried the Oren before buying the Vector, and I'm relieved I did not, because I wouldn't have gotten the Vector! Good review.

Thank you Bruce!

So are you saying your thought process is flawed then ? 🤪

Fantastic shave today. Soap scent is awesome. It smelled like somebody shoved a grapefruit in my face, and I loved it. The performance is what you would expect from ETHOS. Cushion, slickness, residual slickness, ease of lather, and post-shave feel are just unreal. Great job with this soap and scent @Dragonsbeard! The only thing that would have made the shave a little better is if it was cooling like the Fresh Lime, which can be easily taken care of with Ice Dragon!
The Schick Proline is definitely a better blade than the Feather ProGuard. I still had a little alum feedback, but I know I can fix that. The shave feels closer with the Proline than the Proguard and it felt smoother too.
Yesterday I forgot to mention the Replenish Hyaluronic Acid serum. This stuff feels very good on the skin. It is better than the other generic Hyaluronic Acid I have. My face feels softer and healthier than before, and it does have a slight cooling feel.
One last thing, if y'all know of any good colognes, EdTs, EdPs for the Fresh Lime and Melange d'argumes please let me know!

Thanks for reading Cadre, and I hope y'all have a great Wednesday! @dangerousdon I hope this helps!

It was quite a lovely smell Dave!

Hi Pat

A couple of suggestions although not an EDP you could try 4711 which would work with either scent for very little money or if you song mind spending a little more the Colonia ADP EDT would work with both. I’ve used both with both soap scents.

I could make your one in either scent also! Pretty easy to do.

Also thanks for the detailed review! Much appreciated and I agree on your blade choice with the Prolines.

😊👍🏼

Nice shave Pat!
Thanks Tim!

Thanks Frank that would be awesome!

Nice shave Pat! You’re living the shavers dream now!

Just squeeze some fresh limes on your pulse points and call it done! :ROFLMAO:
Thanks Chris! What makes you think that wasn't my cologne for today...

Another great shave tonight. There was zero alum feedback, so I think I am starting to figure this razor out. I think I may use it tomorrow and then go back to rotating razors. I am missing my straight razors right now. The Lavender Supreme soap was incredible. I have used B&M's Reserve Lavender and I have used Jeff's Lavender by Mystic Water. B&M's Lavender smelled really synthetic, but Jeff's Lavender smelled much better. ETHOS Lavender Supreme smells amazing. It smells a little more pure/fresh than Jeff's Lavender, and it is a little stronger too. This is perfect for night shaves (which is why I waited all day to shave). Now the scent is not so strong that it will keep me awake, but strong enough to still be noticeable. Performance was very similar to all of Frank's other soaps, except this soap seemed a little slicker. It could be that I just really hydrated it, but it did not seem like I used more water than usual. Maybe I'll see if it was the boar brush.

All in all it was a great shave and I am BBS! Thanks for reading Cadre, and I hope y'all had a great Thursday!

Hope your Thursday was good too Pat! Great shave report! I’ve taken a liking to lavender scents too in the last couple years.
