Results:
Today was the first day that I used the V for Vetiver soap. This was my first time using a Vetiver scented soap. It is a little difficult to describe the scent, but it reminded me of two-a-days for football. The lather was probably the best lather I have gotten from a CBL soap. It was dense and slick. It provided a great cushion and I felt that it also left my face feeling refreshed and more hydrated than the other CBL soaps I have used.
I also decided to use the R4 on the 6C since the R2 did not shave as close as I was used to. I did feel the blade more with the R4, but it was not uncomfortable and it provided a very close shave. I am very satisfied with the closeness of my shave today and I was able to go over certain spots multiple times without feeling cut up. I cannot say that I am BBS, but I'll take DFS+ with no irritation. I am not sure if I should push it by using the R5, but I feel my curiosity will get the best of me. After using my aftershave splash and balm followed by my moisturizer, my face is feeling refreshed and hydrated. All in all it was a great shave and this razor has me re-thinking DE's.
Thank y'all for reading and I hope y'all have a great day!
Homefront:
Wife is still doing good and little man is kicking like crazy. It's funny when he gets irritated by people always trying to feel him (he comes by it honestly). He will swim as far away from my wife's belly as possible. He is not a fan of the cat (I cannot deny this kid) and likes to hear my coonhounds bay.
