Soap: Cella
Aftershave: Osma Alum & Stirling Tea Tree, Aloe, and Witch Hazel splash & Proraso Green splash
Moisturizer: Hyaluronic Serum drops
Talc: Borotalco

Results:

Well @Maryland998 was right again. Cella is another hit. Performance is good and the scent is very nice. I hot the almond that everyone mentions, but I also got a note of maraschino cherries. Definitely going on the WTB list.
Great shave with the Gong Razor. I believe this one has the Shogun™️ edge on it. Very smooth like shaving with a Voskhod, Personna Red, or Gillette Rubie blade.
Really enjoyed the Proraso Green aftershave and I feel like the Borotalco paired beautifully with it. Another nice shave in the books with no weepers to report. I do however wish I could go ATG every shave so I can get BBS, but i guess DFS will do.

I am anxious to read what the big news @BarberDave has for us. I think he said it was regarding the group buy plus other things. Also I am excited to get my TSC shave shirts.

Thanks for reading Cadre, and I hope y'all had a great Wednesday!

Well @bentheduck used this soap earlier this week and @Dave in KY used this soap today so I could not fight the urge to use it. This is my favorite scent of all time. A couple soaps have come close to it, but Dragonsbeard is still a scent of it's own. @Dragonsbeard thank you for being part of TSC and allowing us to be part of your company. The product naming contests and the updates on new releases really makes this being part of this forum all the more better. I have also been highlighting Stirling during the month of June because aside from their soaps and aftershave splashes, their Witch Hazel splash with Tea Tree is fantastic. This will always be part of my aftershave routine.

Thanks for reading Cadre, and I hope y'all had a great Thursday!

Well woke up late again so no straight shave. Decided to use Seville to test out the Excelsior base and also because the scent is great for summer. After using it again I scored it at 27.5/30 so not an elite soap, but a good tier 1 soap.

Thanks for reading Cadre, and I hope y'all have a great day!

I don't know what to make of B&M anymore. For a while they were pumping out can't miss scents for me, and it kinda just fell off. Excelsior is great and all, but I'm definitely a scent guy.

I definitely agree. I got a sample of this and really liked it and I also liked the sample of Nordost and Leviathan that Ken sent me, but those were the only scents that interested me. Leviathan is out of stock and I believe Nordost is too. I just wanted to see what all the fuss was about. It's a great base but not a whole lot of the scents interest me. Same with Declaration Grooming. The scent I wanted to try was Darkfall, but then I read it had cinnamon.

I was tempted to try Nordst just out of curiosity, but it wouldn't have been a "I need this to complete my den" purchase. I've had better luck with DG, but not much. I can appreciate the effort they out 6 into their scents, though.

The only other DG scent that intrigues me a little bit is the Spice one, but I feel like it will be very similar to Teritus by A&E. That's why I am pretty excited for HCSC because they have a few scents that I don't have.

Never heard of it, but I'm not super big on A&E. I think I have a couple of their soaps and I wasn't super duper impressed, although that was early in my shaving.......career, so I sucked at knowing what was good.

It is very Leather forward. The only other scent I could see myself getting from them is Grecian Horse which is very similar to Leviathan. As far as performance I would say they are similar to maybe B&M Excelsior just not as slick. Still very good. The artisan I want evaluate again is WK.

That oud one everybody has must be popular for a reason. I love Jamestown Gentleman, but it's super not a leather scent. Lol

Oddly enough, I think B&M is on top, followed by Stirling, then CBL. Stirling might actually be on top if you count duplicates.

King of Oud is great and so is King of Bourbon and Merchant of Tobacco. Right now CBL holds the top spot followed closely by Stirling and then next is ETHOS.
