Down in the Heart of Texas!

I hadn't heard much about them until I stumbled on them on Ebay. I looked up the reviews on them and a lot of people said they are really smooth blades. So I decided to order a few just to try out and I am pretty impressed by them. Thanks for reading Chris!
@DocHoliday0831 isn't on here much anymore but he spoke highly of them and lead me to getting 100 and I have enjoyed them too. Nice blades

It seems the general consensus is that Gillette Rubies are the Bomb! Honestly, I can't tell you if I have ever tried one. Now I am wondering if they will out perform the 7 O'Clock Super Platinum...my new love in blades.

Pre-shave: Hot Shower
Razor: Fromm No. 72
Blade:
Brush: Yaqi Rainbow Synthetic
Bowl: PAA Scuttle
Soap: Stirling- Baker Street
Aftershave: Osma Alum & Stirling Witch Hazel, Aloe, and Tea Tree & Baker Street balm
Moisturizer: CeraVe Moisturizing Cream & Hyaluronic Serum drops
Fragrance: Lacoste

Results:

First shave with the Fromm since Insent it to @Maryland998 to be honed. All I can say is wow. Very smooth shave and that does not mean the razor is not sharp. It bit me twice (my fault), but everything else was very smooth. Thank you Ken that was a great shave!
To keep up with the June shave theme I decided to use the first Stirling soap I fell in love with. I wish i would have went with the splash, and I can easily rectify that, but only because I love the scent that much.

Thanks for reading Cadre! I hope y'all have a great Friday!

Tell me your thoughts on the scent of the Baker Street soap. I've had it in my cart a few times but haven't pulled the trigger.

To me it is in the same scent profile as Executive Man and Hipster. A very clean cologne type of smell. If you would like you can PM me your address and I'll send you a sample. I should be getting my sample containers in either tomorrow or Monday.

Woke up late so I couldn't use a straight today. No worries as I have been wanting to try out these blades. Very smooth and remind me a lot of Voskhods, maybe a tad sharper, but still very comfortable. Love the scent if Wayoh which I believe is modeled after Spicebomb so I definitely need to pick up a bottle of that. All in all it was a great shave and I am smelling great!

Thanks for reading Cadre, I hope y'all have a great Saturday!

Great shave this morning. Used the Dubl Duck that @Maryland998 honed for me. Not as smooth as the Fromm, but still very sharp and mowed through the whiskers with ease. Very hard to decide which edge I liked more.
The soap performed very well, better than I expected and the smell is fantastic. 3 passes, rinse, splash, and everything is the way it should be!

Thanks for reading Cadre, and I hope y'all have a fantastic Sunday!

Two ducks are better than one, I always say!

Can't go wrong with Wayoh. It's pretty close to Spicebomb, but to my nose it's missing a something. My nose tells a similar story with Stirling Kaboom/Deton-8. You really can't go wrong with a bottle of SB, though. My wife loves it.

Yeah I am looking at Spicebomb and BVLGARI Man in Black.
