Today's shave

Pre-shave: Hot Shower & Jack Black's Face Buff
Razor: 1961 G2 Gillette Fatboy
Blade: Gillette 7 o'clock Green
Brush: Yaqi Rainbow Synthetic
Bowl: PAA Scuttle
Soap: Oleo Wayoh
Aftershave: Osma Alum & Stirling Witch Hazel, Tea Tree, and Aloe Splash & Oleo Wayoh splash
Moisturizer: CeraVe Moisturizing Cream

Results:

The shave yesterday for letter "V" was very good. The Master Barber base is fantastic and the scent was my favorite Vetiver forward scent so far. The Skin Food by Frank paired perfectly and the skin benefits are the same great skin benefits you can always expect from his products.
For today I decided to go with Wayoh by Oleo. This is supposed to be based off of Spicebomb by Viktor and Rolf. I have never smelled that cologne before, but I do love the scent of this soap. My wife said it smelled like cookies, but I couldn't see that. Honestly I have nothing to compare it to. It is just really good smelling and really unique which is a good thing to me. The splash did have a more cologne vibe to it which was really nice. All I know is I will always have this scent in my den and I will be ordering some Spicebomb in the future.
The Voskhod blade was great, but yesterday it really started to pull. I tried it today to see if it was my technique, but it began pulling again so I decided to switch out the blade. The Gillette 7 o'clock Green is very similar to the GSB, but not as smooth. Still a good shave at the end of the day.

Pre-shave: Hot Shower & Jack Black's Face Buff
Razor: 1961 G2 Gillette Fatboy
Blade: Gillette 7 o'clock Green (2)
Brush: AoG PIF #5 by @Smattayu
Bowl: PAA Scuttle
Soap: Razorock XXX
Aftershave: Osma Alum & Thayers Concoction & Skin Bracer
Moisturizer: CeraVe Moisturizing Cream

Results:

For "X" day I decided to use Razorick XXX. The reason is because that is the only soap that I have that has an X in it. Not a huge fan of this soap. I always wonder why and then I use it. I feel like it really dehydrates my face and then I have to use a ton of moisturizer. Scent isn't bad but I never got the matching aftershave so I decided to go with Skin Bracer. I love the scent of this stuff so much. What did make my shave awesome is that I got to use the brush @Smattayu sent me! This brush is absolutely beautiful and splays wonderfully. The knot is very soft but still feels like it has a good amount of backbone in it. The brush feels great in my hand and I can say with absolute certainty that this will not be my only brush from Eric. Thank you for this brush and thank you @Dave in KY for passing your entry to me!

Thank y'all for reading and I hope y'all had a great Friday!
