For "Q" day I went with a quad-milled soap. That is all I could think of doing for Q. I feel like face lathering helped me build a better lather and I was clean shaven for the big day! I did not anticipate us staying an extra day so for "R" day I originally planned Roasted Oatmeal Stout, but I'll have to make that up at the end of the month.

Homefront:

John Peyton Elliott was born yesterday and he and his momma are doing great. Between phone calls and video chats we did not really get a chance to just relax until about 9 at night, but by that point we were both dead. Peyton woke woke us up a couple times to eat, but I was surprised I didn't get upset. Usually when I get woken up I am a little grumpy (I'm told). He came out with a little bit of peach fuzz on his face so I suggested using Dragonsbeard for his first shave, but his mom did not find that amusing. I just want to say thank you to you all for the prayers and good thoughts. Also, thank you Eric for forgiving me for not packing the Voskhod blade 😂

Thank you for reading Cadre, and I hope y'all have a great weekend!
