Re-used the last picture because the shave gear looked the same. Another great Williams shave. The lather was much creamier and it didn’t take near as much work to dial it in. It’s good stuff in my book! I think I can use just about any AC blade in the OREN and it’ll deliver what I’m looking for. Tonight the Vector is on deck even though I really want to use the ShoGun edge again, I’ve just been too tired to concentrate as much as I need to.

Was doing a bit of wood working over the weekend. I learned that having no clue what I’m doing and not having the right tools can really set ya back when attempting box joints. Oh well, nothing a trip to the lumber couldn’t fix. My buddy has a 3D wood engraving machine and that thing is frickin awesome to watch do it’s thing. I’m starting to dig wood working... (queue another expensive hobby).
Have a good day Cadre!

Nice shave John! Yea, woodworking is fun...there’s a lot of fun gadgets to try jut like any other hobby but it can really be as expensive or as cheap as you like! You could go old school, pick up a few quality tools, and be totally set!

Hellooooooo Cadre, I am finally back to the land of the living. It had been absolutely insanely from 8 Dec until yesterday. I’ve been mentally, emotionally and physically destroyed and I wouldn’t change anything even if I had a time machine. Most of my shaving has been out of utility but using good gear still made it enjoyable. My Garmin watch took one hell of a beating and I’m really impressed it’s still doing it’s thing. The battery is getting to the end of its life though and I think an upgrade to the Garmin 6 pro solar may be in order. We shall see.
Have a great day Cadre!!

Great to see ya John! Glad you’re pressing on.

What Garmin do you have now? Those new solar 6’s are nice!

Welcome back! Hope you get to take a breath.
Thanks Dave! I’m taking a nice long breath as I’m off until Thursday. We took our wee lass to Mammoth to see the snow for the first time. We just had her put skis on for the first time and I think she should be young enough to not remember how horrible putting the boots on the the first time can be. 😂

Very cool, I learned to ski when I was in the 1st grade or so. Falling down isn't a big deal when you're that short!

Fantastic shave this evening even trying to avoid opening a pretty nasty touch down from last night’s clonisori shave. The WSP Mahogany and Nivea Deep compliment each other quite well. A journey in honing will be commencing as soon as the supplies arrive. I’ll be starting with lapping film until I can get a consistent edge. Then, who knows how I will explain to my wife why I need a $300 piece of stone. 🤷‍♂️
