First go with an injector razor and my initial impression is very positive. It took the first pass to get used to the angle, but once I found it it was smooth sailing. The PJ2 is always a pleasure to use and Arko provided plenty of slickness. Ended up DFS+ and looking forward to using the this razor again tomorrow.
 
Classic gear for a classic shave. I didn't use injectors for years, scared off by fear of another rabbit hole. I have a Schick type G injector, and have never looked back. I'll use DEs again, but SE blades are stiffer with less chatter, leading to a better shave. Enjoy!

I guess you can say I’m loving Ethos. My biggest regret is that I didn’t try it sooner. The jectah is also a huge win as well. @GearNoir you’re completely right when you says it’s like cheating. The last 7 shaves have been fantastic. Frank’s software, Graydog’s brush, the Schick and Vector... I can use these for the rest of me days and be very happy.

Still going strong with the Ethos Lavender, I don’t feel the need to use anything else for the time being. Instead of bowl loading or lathering I’ve just been smearing it on my face and it’s been working well. It’s quite nice to use the same kit and really getting it dialed in.

It was a pretty good week. I didn’t mention it on the Wednesday zoom call but I found out that morning I was selected got promotion. It was still kinda sinking in still, but I was silently celebrating with you guys, even if you didn’t know it. 😂 it’s gunna be a super stress for 6-8 weeks until I get pinned but I’m really looking forward to the process.

I got a sampler of blades and used them only in the Vector. I gave up on the Kais because I had similar experiences to yours. Have you tried Schick Proline? They work really well for me.

Thanks Bruce!!

I got a proline in a sample pack of AC blades and it was the first one I popped the Vector. It was wonderful. I’m still workin on getting through the rest of the blades but I’ll most likely get a big ole pack of the prolines.
On a bit of an amusing note, my wife just learned that my razors require different types of blades... the silence was deafening! 😂
