Interesting soap. Sounds like it performed near the top of Vegan soaps. My question is how did they get it to smell like Dr. Pepper with only 5 scent notes??? Dr. Pepper has 23 flavors!!

I despise the taste and smell of Dr. P, so I would never try that one, LOL.

Nice video. My concern on that scent would be if it is too strong on the cherry scent. Can you go into the scent a tad bit more?

Thanks Chad...the cherry does come through pretty strong, not overbearing, but going back and smelling it, the rest of the scent notes are riding the Cherry's coattails to give a very close interpretation of Dr. P.

Thanks KJ...it was definitely a surprise performer for certain...I would have to use it some more to really judge it against some of the other top vegan soaps out there (Nuavia, Wickham, SV), but it's close. As far as the scent is concerned, I think they took the five predominant notes and went with those...it's a pretty good rendition of Dr. P, though if you're not a fan, it's not a soap I would recommend.

Hmm, torn on this one. I like the smell, but tend to not like the smell of edible items in my soaps. Did you just take a flier on this to check out the company?

Thanks Dave...yeah, decided to take a gamble and try it out. Glad I did.

I wouldn't recommend trying to taste this...though that might make for an interesting video...lol

CBL's Roasted Oatmeal Stout smelled SOOOOOOOO GOOD, that curiosity got the better of me.......

It didn't taste bad...... not good, but it didn't taste bad. It was weird. Just kinda had a neutral taste, not soapy at all.

Josh very nice shave here. I have heard of Oleo and they are on my short list of want to try. I will need to look into it further.

I've been meaning to ask you. What exactly do you mean when you say a soap is or is not gourmand?

I looked up the term and it refers to a person. A person who enjoys eating and often eats too much... a connoisseur.

So, when a scent is gourmand, it means that it replicates a food item, or smells like something you would eat. A great example would be the Club Cola or Mr. Pepper, both meant to replicate those respective sodas.

Thanks for the clarification.
