When I was in boot camp for the Marine Corps we would all have to stand in line for the various inspections we had. If it was a big inspection...battalion commander or higher...the drill instructors made sure we all smelled our best. While standing in line a recruit would walk down it and stand in front of the other future marines with two spray bottles. One would be mouth wash and the other was this stuff that came out of a plastic bottle called Wind Drift...which I think was supposed to smell like Old Spice. The recruit would spray the mouth wash into your mouth and spray the Wind Drift onto your neck. I probably don't have to tell you that this often got mixed up and there were no re-dos. While I smelled minty fresh...the taste of aftershave/cologne was not all that pleasant!
