Getting caught up. Hopefully, all the gremlins left. A lot of great products.

Pre Shave: Bull Dog Original Face Wash
Razor: Rockwell 6S (R4 plate)
Blade: Parker Premium Platinum
Brush: Whipped Dog 26mm Synthetic
Soap: Soap Commander Optimism
Post Shave: Cold Water Rinse Alum Block, and Dickson's
After Shave: Soap Commander Optimism After Shave Balm
Cologne: Murray & Lanman Florida Water Cologne

Didn't shave Monday, not really any need to, I was still DFS+ from Sunday's shave.

I decided to go with a known soap for the next shave with the Parker Blade. Stayed with the Rockwell razor.

As expected the Whipped Dog made quick work out of making a great lather with the Optimism soap. 3 passes and just a little buffing for a nice BBS+ shave. No nicks or weepers. Just a little bit of alum sting on the right side lower neck.
So 2 shaves with Parker Premium Platinum and I'm not finding any thing not to like about this blade. I had no issues with keeping the razor at the correct angle and pressure at a minimum this time. My impression of this blade hasn't changed yet.

Finished with the Soap Commander matching balm and my face feels nice and smooth.
A few dotties of the Florida Water and I'm good to go. I think the Florida Water paired very nicely with the Optimism scent.

Monday was another 10 hour day at work and I spent all of it chasing the Gremlin again. Thought I had it hemmed up and poof it disappeared. Today was only 9 hours. We came up with a plan to monitor everything on this system to see if we could pin down the Gremlin. Once we had everything hooked up and the test bay was cleared for us to run late this afternoon. The system purred like a kitten. No sign at all of the Gremlin. ARRRRRG!

Nice photo, Craig. The scent of that SC soap is intriguing. How's the SOS?

BTW, glad you got things straightened out at work.

Nice shave and it sounds like the Parker blades are going to become a staple for more than a few people on here! Also curious about that scent from SC...

IRT the gremlins...it really sounds like murphy is playing jokes now...

Thanks Chirs! I'd put it at typical SC which is a good 3 of 5. Oh and the problem isn't solved it's still there! That's the problem with Gremlins.
Nice shave. I love Florida Water.
Thanks Doug! Have you ever used it before bed? Supposed to provide for some vivid dreams I've heard. Never done that myself.

Thanks Josh! The main notes are pretty are what the label says pear, plum and bergamot. It really is a nice fruity citrus scent. I'm about ready to call in an exorcist, Priest, Rabbi, Shaolin Monk, Buddhist Priest, Hindu Priest, and a faith healer and have them lay hands on them, can't hurt right?

I've heard some people have their own magnetic fields and can wear watches because they stop working. Can you scan everyone for that? (just kidding of course) But seriously, have you burned sage and made sure there are no voo-doo dolls in the building?

See my response to Josh above. I think the Hindu Priest would do the sage, I will have to add a Voodoo Priestess to the list.

Pre Shave: Bull Dog Original Face Wash
Razor: RazoRock Mission
Blade: Parker Premium Platinum
Brush: Maggard Razors 24mm Synthetic Shaving Brush, Marble Handle
Cream: Proraso Green
Post Shave: Cold Water Rinse Alum Block, and Dickson's
After Shave: Master Well Comb Breeze After Shave

I didn't shave yesterday, due to me planning to go after work and get a haircut and shave. That didn't work out, I had to work 10 hours. So a good test of the Parker blade on 2 days growth with a medium razor.

Proraso Green, need I say any more? I amped it up with a few drops of vegetable glycerin. The Maggard brush made quick work of producing a great lather. Nice cooling effect for this hot spring day.

The Parker blade did not disappoint. 3 passes and just a tad clean up and I'm BBS+. No nicks, weepers, and just a hint of alum sting.

Finished with the Breeze ASL to prolong the cooling effect.
