Chad's adventures of shaving, officiating, and life

Razor: Gillette Long Comb
Blade: Kai Blade (6)
Soap: Henri et Victoria Nautilus
Brush: Razorock Plissoft
Aftershave1: T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Henri et Victoria Nautilus

Okay as much as I want to kill the TOBs it is just too difficult to use the same cream day after day. So I still would like to kill it off, so I think I will go to an every other day system. So anyways the shave today. On my last pass I started feeling the blade so took some time and made sure to bin the blade after my shave. The Gillette Long Comb is a really nice razor and I prefer it over the Piccolo I used earlier in the week. The soap is an EXCELLENT performer. If you don't have any HeV in your den you are doing yourself a disservice. It truly is an exceptional performer. I get such great shaves from their soaps. This one though is so lightly scented it is practically unscented. But that is where the aftershave comes in. While still faint it smells great. A very nice light scent that is enjoyable.

Well yesterday was a disappointing loss for my Utes. The Utes actually started the game strong and where in a good position, leading the whole game and honestly dominating it. Then there best player got hurt, hit his head on the hip of an opposing player (not a dirty play just misfortune) and he was out the rest of the first half. After that Penn St. to there credit did exactly what they needed to do. Expose the weakness of the Utes now. The dominant big guy was was gone and they took advantage. Collette (the player) did try and come back probably because he is a senior and this his last collegiate game. But he just couldn't go, and was promptly taken out for safety reasons. Credit to Penn State. They did everything they needed to do to win that game, and the Utes couldn't overcome the adversity. Still proud of my team. Congrats to the Nittany Lions
.

Today is Good Friday, and I am feeling guilty being at work. A day of fasting is in order for the day. Mass later this evening.

Have a good day cadre!

Nice write-up Chad, and while I'm glad Penn St. won, it's always somewhat bitter sweet to see they didn't do so against a full strength Ute squad. All the same, the Ute's did the school and their supporters proud by making it to the finals!

Great shave Chad. I have been considering getting other HeV soaps, but my buy list is just too long. Congrats on making it to the finals. It is too bad that they had to lose like that.

Catching up Chad!

Great reads, shaves, and pictures!

WOW hard to believe that Sadie is 1 year old.

Oh and a TSC Brush sounds great! I'll finally get an Eric brush then.

Thanks Josh. And Penn State took advantage they deserved the win. But the Lady Irish had a great game yesterday.

Razor: Colonial General
Blade: Feather Pro (1)
Soap: TOBs luxury cream
Brush: Razorock F400
Aftershave1: T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Aqua Velva Balm
Cologne: Penhaligons Endymion

Quick entry today. We have a busy day lined up. The General got called up because I needed a guarantee. No blood and a BBS. I got it in 2 passes and used the third for clean up. I finished it up with the AV balm and the Endymion a great scent.

Today we are getting family pictures done, which include Easter pics and Sadie's 1 year photos. Then to McDonald's to full fill a promise to Connor. Then up the Heber Valley Railroad to take the kids on the Easter Train. Then home to color eggs. I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday.

The boss and I need to get some family pics done but I can assure you we will not be eating at a McDonalds. That is the only fast food place we refuse to patronize due to the idiocies of the local owners here.

We avoid McDonald's like crazy. But his grandma took him and he has been begging for it. So we said only if you do good for pictures. So far so good. So I guess McDs is in order lol.

Great quick, reliable shave, Chad! Sounds like my girls...they only get McD's as an incentive if they are good. LOL

I did try the new artisan BBQ burger. It was actually pretty good. But my fries were cold. That was unfortunate.

Sounds like a busy, but fun day!

It certainly was Craig. But a great day with my family.

To the rest of the Cadre I'll catch up tomorrow crazy busy day and I'm exhausted. Time for bed. If you follow me on Facebook you will see how busy it was

That's the biggest tragedy of all...the fries are the best thing to come out of McD's! Unless they're cold...

Great shave Chad. I try to avoid McDonald's if I can. My stomach is never appreciative of it. I never had this problem until I lived in MT and the town I was in had an ordinance banning fast food. The closest place was an hour away.

Unfortunately most of the McD’s here have about zero give a hoots combined. Fortunately we have almost every other fast food chain you can think of to choose from and McD’s is on the wrong end of town anyway.

Razor: Colonial General
Blade: Feather Pro (2)
Soap: SV 70th
Brush: Stirling Marble
Aftershave1: T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel

What a wonderful shave! No ifs ands or buts SV is fantastic soap. I had an absolutely wonderful shave today for Easter Sunday. A great BBS and ready to celebrate this Easter Sunday.

On our way to mass, then an Easter egg hunt afterwards for the kids at church. Then home for Easter eggs and to see what the Easter Bunny left the kids. After that we will head over to my parents to celebrate Easter with the family.

God Bless everyone Jesus Christ has risen today! Rejoice.

Great shave. With egg hiding like in that picture, should be a quick search.
