Nice shave with the TOBS again, Chad, and nice perspective on the photo.

HR issues like that are pretty frustrating when someone can't keep their mouth closed. It really does affect the team dynamic and is hard to overcome. Hope that things go in a positive direction for you and your team once HR gets involved.

It's crazy that Sadie is already 1!!!

Thanks Josh. It is definitely hard to believe.

Bummer about the HR issue, always a pain.

I actually laughed when I saw your pic and the AS bottle. Too funny.

It is my favorite AS bottle

Correct me if i am wrong, an employee who calls you "Butt Head" isn't really slandering you. I mean, you often profess to have achieved a BBS shave so you might be confusing this employee. You talk about baby butts when describing your face, maybe they mean well.

I wish it was something that simple lol.

Excellent shaves Chad, and good info on the Stirling clone.

Perhaps just maybe our resident brush maker could do a TSC inspired brush to commemorate the beginning of this site. Paging ERIC HELLO ERIC!!! Are you there??? Reach out to me if you think it might be possible.

Great minds do think alike. I was actually thinking about the possibility of a TSC brush last weekend. It is very possible, and I'd love to talk to you about it.

Great shave. I think that handle would look great on a better performing head.

Thanks Eric. I'll email you tomorrow with what I'm thinking. And potential logistics

Thanks Don and I agree

That sounds great. I'll sharpen the skews.

Don’t let him talk you into believing the official TSC colours are the same as the Utes

Cvargo said:
Hey everyone likes the color red!

Ummm...unless you like blue instead. LOL

Congrats on the UTES making the NIT finals, though! Can't root for them at this point as they're playing Penn St., who happen to be one of the two universities I follow. (the other being UCONN).

Oh Josh we all make mistakes. But being blue just can't happen as that is byu and I despise EVERYTHING about them!

The brush idea sounds fantastic!

I know!

Razor: Merkur 37c
Blade: Kai Blade (5)
Soap: TOBs Luxury
Brush: Envy Shave Ute Brush
Aftershave1: T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Avon Oland

Well folks sorry no picture today. Thursdays are my EARLY days up at 4:30AM, and I forgot the pic last night. So on deck today was my 37c a slant razor that I get mixed results from, which is why you don't see me use it very often. Thankfully today I had a good one. But still only DFS in fact I don't think this razor has ever delivered a BBS. The Avon Oland is an excellent scent. I think Chris L also really likes this juice from Avon. All in all a good shave.

Homefront:

Today is Holy Thursday, so a great day to reflect as we prepare for what's to come. Also the Utes go for the NIT championship today. So I will be watching that also. I am wearing my red and ready to go. GO UTES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice shave with the slant today, Chad. I had similar experiences with a slant (Ikon X3), and ended up PIF'ing it to Pete. IRT the NIT, I'll be pulling for Penn St., but won't be all that upset if the UTES pull it out as I follow PSU primarily in Football, not BB.

I used to have negative feelings toward Penn St at all. However with that scandal that happened around the football program it is hard for me to wish any success to that athletic program especially football. When it comes to College sports I root for the UofU and Notre Dame. I root against BYU but outside of that I really just enjoy watching the competition that is college sports.

Perfectly understandable...I hold a lot of animosity to the leadership of the athletic program at the time for what happened. It, unfortunately but correctly, tarnished a wonderful career by JoePa, because he turned a blind eye to what should have been stopped immediately, and gave the school as a whole a very large black eye. I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure that the athletic department has been completely gutted and replaced with new leadership following those events, so this crew should have no connection to previous events.

I'm with you on enjoying the competition of collegiate sporting events. It's the last pure form of athletic competition in my opinion, as the students are playing for two primary reason...they love the game, and are playing as hard as they can to increase their chances of making the $$$ in the professional ranks. The day that collegiate athletes begin getting paid is the day those two reasons for playing will die, so I hope it doesn't happen.

Yes the athletic dept has been completely gutted, and for good reason. Also my original comments should have said "I used to have no negative..."

Before it all happened and when Joe was still coaching I used to always root for Penn State... how could you not respect what that man had accomplished in his career? And for so long. So sad everything that happened and how it happened.

It is really a shame about what happened. I am glad that the whole program was gutted.

I never really follow any of the huge name schools as far as sports go, to some extent I believe all of them have used some not so honorable methods of recruiting and retaining players. I do follow my wife's alma matter East Carolina University as they are the closest to us we try to make a game or two of football each year and sometimes baseball.

I agree. We had an incident out here at a local high school where a football coach was causing problems between cheerleaders, and players. And then he started getting involved too. The coach, his staff, the cheerleading staff, and athletic director all involved and ALL fired. Criminal charges pressed too.

I have no complaints about East Carolina University. They beat byu last year in football. And every week of college football I root for the Utes, Notre Dame, and whoever is playing byu. Also I LOVE going to the baseball games. Waiting for it to warm up a tiny bit and then I'll be taking the fam to the AAA games.
