Chad's adventures of shaving, officiating, and life

Sweet mercy Chad. There's a lot of clean-up happening at your house when the kids get sick. Hope they grow out of that phase soon!

Glad Connor is getting better. Stetson was always my dad's choice of aftershave too.

Great shave, read, and picture Chad!

Stetson is a good scent IHMO! One of the 1st I can remember buying for myself.

Glad to hear Connors is better and if Sadie knows where your stash is, I bet Megan does too!

Nice shave with a favorite, Chad! Great news that Connor's ailment is looking to have passed, too!

Thanks Josh. We are hoping we are past the bad stuff.

Thanks Dave. When the kids are sick it is NEVER fun.

Thanks Craig. Megan knows about my other hiding spots... but they are full. I just moved into this one.

Catching up Chad, Glad the tike is better and nice photo and shaves

Razor: Fatip Piccolo
Blade: Kai Blade (3)
Soap: TOBs Luxury
Brush: Envy Shave Ute Brush
Aftershave1: T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Avon Windjammer

Well up today was the TOBs luxury cream. There is maybe 8 shaves left in this container and I think I will close out the month with it. And then finish it off later in April. I have some shaves lined up for April and have 3 new CBL creams I need to use at some point also. But my hope is by the end of April the TOBs is gone. The shave today was a very good shave, but the Piccolo is just not a favorite of mine. I will probably move this onto someone else who can enjoy it via BST or PIF we shall see. The Avon Windjammer is an AS I sadly forget about, but I really enjoy the scent and was happy to use it today. Also in my shave today I used the Scuttle sent to me by Josh, thanks again. Here's the lather I was working with right before adding the last couple drops of water to get it perfect.

Nothing crazy to report. I did schedule the appointment yesterday to get the hitch, wiring, and trailer brake controller installed. So on 4/2 that will all be happening. We are getting closer and closer to being able to camp. Just a few more things that need to happen before we can head out. Still shooting for the second weekend in May as our maiden voyage.

Have a good day cadre.

I had good success with the piccolo when I was part of a passaround. I never got one because it would be redundant for me with my old type. One would constantly be gathering dust. Actually, probably both would. These days when I want an aggressive shave, I tend to reach for a Shovelhead.

Good luck with finishing a tub. That is rare around these parts.

Great Read, Shave, and Pictures Chad!

Hmmm it's been a while since I used any TOBs cream. I may have to remedy that soon.

I have done it a few times in my 4 years of shaving this way. But it hasn't happened in awhile.

Thanks Craig. TOBs creams are good creams. But honestly once this is gone not sure when more will enter the den.

Chad, it's taken me a while, but I'm all caught up on your journal. The CBL soaps really are something special, no doubt.

Razor: Stirling 34c head clone
Blade: Kai Blade (4)
Soap: TOBs Luxury
Brush: Stirling Finest Fan
Aftershave1: T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Avon Wild Country

Well today was a second day in a row with same soap. Something that doesn't happen all that often around here. The TOBs luxury cream is a good performer and I do enjoy the scent. I whipped a nice lather today in the Capt. Choice bowl and the shave was good. The razor today is one I picked up mainly for the handle because I like the shape. It does give good shaves but the head is a clone and not the best clone. You really need to pay attention and make sure that the razor is aligned properly. I wrapped up the shave today with Avon's Wild Country and am ready to tackle the day.

Well nothing crazy to report. Dealing with another HR issue at work again. Have an employee who enjoys spreading rumors that can be deemed slanderous. So will be dealing with that all day today. I am hoping this can be it with this employee and we can move on from there toxicity. However with HR involved you never know how it is going to go. Kids are doing great and Sadie's birthday cake was ordered! We are ready to celebrate her birthday and looking forward to the fun. I still can't believe that my baby princess is going to be one.

Have a good day Cadre.

Nice shave with the TOBS again, Chad, and nice perspective on the photo.

HR issues like that are pretty frustrating when someone can't keep their mouth closed. It really does affect the team dynamic and is hard to overcome. Hope that things go in a positive direction for you and your team once HR gets involved.

It's crazy that Sadie is already 1!!!

Bummer about the HR issue, always a pain.

I actually laughed when I saw your pic and the AS bottle. Too funny.

Correct me if i am wrong, an employee who calls you "Butt Head" isn't really slandering you. I mean, you often profess to have achieved a BBS shave so you might be confusing this employee. You talk about baby butts when describing your face, maybe they mean well.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA

I'll never be able to say BBS without thinking of this post now. Thanks for that Chris.
