Chad's adventures of shaving, officiating, and life

Hope the kids like the food. Our poor kids would rather take the same sandwiches to school day after day than eat what the school serves. Well back in my day we had awesome rectangle shaped pieces of pizza and hoagie sandwiches.

I always did look forward to the days they served tater tots!

Soap Commander is around the corner for me...nice shave Chad! Glad to hear the meal prep situation was dealt with at the KoC meeting without too much acrimony.

Great shave. One of these days I will give SC a try again...

I hope you like it!

Hm, Soap Commander in the corner...imagine that!

Glad the meeting went well, school crisis averted! I’m sure an unexpected price increase for the parents might have started a little wildfire...

Very true and my state is already on fire. Two new fires in the last two days. Both from lightning.

Ah Rectangle pizza YUM! This new supplier will actually cook all the food on site. And a couple weeks ago they did a taste test for us. Honestly it wasn't horrible. Not great but not bad.

I loved tater tot day! And those chicken nuggets too sadly.

Thanks Josh. I am looking forward to your review of SC.

If the contractor is cooking the food on site...it is likely better quality food and hopefully more nutritious. You guys are doing some good things!

Your shave yesterday drove me to pic my Timeless for mine yesterday too. Nice shave Chad

The Timeless is well timeless.

Glad things ended up working out for the kids!

As am I Tom. Thanks.

I sure hope so Don. I had no idea how involved one must be in private school. But I am confident it will all pay off.

Razor: Timeless .68
Blade: Astra SP (3)
Soap/cream: BlueBell Spice Rack
Brush: Stirling Marble Finest Badger
Aftershave1: T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Stirling Vetiver

Well today was finally back to another soap that was made in the State of Utah. I used the BlueBell Spice Rack. This is a very unique scent that is literally described as your spice rack spilling. There is so much going on here, and I usually prefer this in the colder months, but pairing it with the Vetiver from Stirling set me up for a solid day. The shave over all was very nice.

Homefront:

Well yesterday I paid my referee Union Dues and also registered for the new season. We are literally just weeks away. I am very excited. The new rule books are in hand and the test opens up on Sunday evening. Looking at my schedule last year my first game should be around Aug 10th or so.

Over the last weekend the wife and I took our wedding rings in to be re-sized. We have both lost a bunch of weight and our rings were literally falling off. Thankfully we did order the protection plans so all of this was covered. But sadly my ring is not
made any longer, and it can't be resized so I had to order in a new one. My wife's is due for pick up this evening but mine is still 3 weeks out. Well those of you with little kids might know about the promotion going on at Build a Bear today. Well my wife wants to deal with the madness and see about getting the kids bears. For today only as long as you are a registered member (we are) every bear is only the cost of their age. So Connor $4 and Sadie $1. I figure as long as the line is not overly outrageous I am willing to give it a try.

Anyways hope you all have a great Thursday Cadre.

Alrighty Chad, are they still in business? First result in a google search is you mentioning them on B&B.

I'm not Catholic, but I just crossed myself thinking of you dealing with a crowd of excited and impatient kids.

Nice shave Chad ! I don't envy you and what that line is sure to be but hope you get the bears. Have a great day

Thanks Dave. If the line is too long. I will pass it up.

Sadly they are out of business. They closed shop due to real life careers throwing a wrench in things. If you search hard you can still find some. I know Mini Moustachery has limited amounts, and I think PAA might. IF you find it BUY IT!

You a crazy daddy my friend. $5 for two bears is a steal but wow.

Going to try. IF we get there and it's crazy. The plan is Megan take Sadie to the Disney store let her pick out a small stuffed animal, and I take Connor to the Lego store for something small. But hey the Lego store is right next to where they make fudge so I got the better deal!

Nice shave with the Spice Rack Chad...and that's a heck of a deal on the build a bear...wow!

It certainly is! Thanks Josh.

Great shave. It is too bad that BlueBell went out of business.

Have fun at Build-A-Bear.

Adults having fun at build a bear. Is that possible? And yes it is a shame!

Well as expected not only were lines long, News says stores have been shut down for the day due to them being mobbed. Who saw that coming ?? OK everyone, put your hands down. Hope you got them before the chaos Chad !!

Uh... called an audible. Splash park instead!

Less drama but $75 more in lunch?

Wife swung by the office we got to the mall. Line was outside no parking. I said screw it. We stopped and grabbed subway sandwiches and to a city park that has a splash pad. Let the kids play and since we have young kids just changed their clothes, and the wife dropped me off back at work. We are going back to the mall tonight since we can't pick up her ring until after 6PM so hopefully it has died down.

Ah, I was thinking of a paid water park. You got off easy.
