I guess I'm one of the few that actually gets a nice lather from the Colonel. I totally dig the Lime, although it really doesn't smell like an actual lime - it's really like a lime flavored Jolly Rancher, which I'm cool with!
Thanks Chris. We are doing it again in a few weeks. We are gone the 20th thru 23rd, then we leave again on the 27th (friday) for a whole week.

Thanks Chris. I also own the Col's Lime. I also like the scent. I think I might just need to do a shave with this soap on camera after I work through what I already have out just to prove on camera that it is possible to have a great lather!

Brush: Legacy TSC Brush
Aftershave1: T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Fine Platinum
Well the straight was put away and the General came out to play. I called an audible today and opted to use the new soap today. That way tomorrow I can use the sample from Lisa's and take the day off easy. I did record a review for you all also so you can get my true first impressions of this soap. Overall I would call it good not great. Slickness and residual where very good! Latherability and lather stability could have been better but it is important to remember this was my first go with this soap. The scent of this soap I had higher hopes for also. It was very light and had a stronger menthol scent than I would like, but overall I must say I am happy with the soap.
It gets an initial review of Tier 2 Box 6.

Homefront:
Tonight I am going to be grilling some stuffed burgers and we will light a few fireworks. Tomorrow the actual 4th we will spend most of the day with my grandma who is the one who broke her foot and is finally home from the recovery center. Connor starts this series of swim lessons today and we are looking forward to it. We opted for the swim lessons over soccer, and will get him back in soccer when he is 5, we think it will be more meaningful for him and will be more likely to pay attention to his coach. Good stuff Chad. As I mentioned before...I had started following Cherry City Shave a couple of weeks ago on Instagram. I am interested to see what your thoughts on one of those soaps after a few shaves.

Thanks Don. I lathered the Pineapple slush last night again and honestly opinion didn't change much. I am sticking to my statement too much menthol in it, that I think it broke down the soap. The samples are even different consistency. I will use one of those soon.
