Straight Shave # 177
Razor: Feather Kamisori
Blade: Captain Mild Titan (5)
Soap/cream: Derby Shave Stick
Brush: Razorock Plissoft
Aftershave1: T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Avon Deep Woods
Well up today was a straight shave. Chose the Feather system and used the Derby stick which was my first time using. It did a wonderful job. I would say maybe a tiny bit slicker than Arko. And the scent is in the same wheel house as Arko but not nearly as strong and not as synthetic smelling. Both very good things. My shave was super smooth today.
The Avon Deep Woods was also first time today and this is another nice scent I just wish it lasted longer. Here I sit 2 hours post shave and it is practically non-existent.

Had a nice evening last night at bingo. Although a patron had seizure so was dealing with medical personnel. Also a lot of politicking done by one individual trying to convince fellow brother knights to vote for him. I am taking a different approach and letting them come to me. I counted 17 brother knights yesterday. 15 came to me asking to run for Grand Knight and that I have there vote. I feel like I know what I need to do. Today it is pouring rain so we are just going to run a few errands, and then try and relax at home.
I will catch up later today when I get back home. Have a good day Cadre.

Strange things are afoot at the Knights of Columbus! Sounds like there needs to be a shake up in the ranks! I am not an overly religious man...but since I have taken on the tenants of the Catholic Church almost ten years ago, I have to agree with Dave's advice. These men need to really consider why they are there in the first place. If it is for personal gain...they need to go.
By the way Chad...if you need to stuff the ballot box...I know a group of people...nay...a Cadre who might be willing to do that for you!

LOL oops typed the wrong thing lol. We did receive word that the older lady was released from the hospital and was caused due to taking the wrong prescription twice.

Thanks Don. And it sounds like I am not going to need to the support of the Cadre to win this election lol. I have decided I am not removing my name and just leaving it in the Lord's hands. What is meant to be will happen. I can't stress about this any longer.
Thanks Doug. If you like the performance of Arko but despise the scent like me, then the Derby is a great alternative for sure.

Shake hands and kiss the babies, as you fell you should, but in the end, those who are voting already know you and what kind of gentleman you are. It's not like you have to go door to door and introduce yourself. As has been stated the rest is in the Lords hands.
