nice one Chad, interesting that the El Jefe is more aggressive but less efficient than the General .The Avon rabbit hole is one that I'm going to stay out of until I get back stateside on a more permanent basis.
BTW...hope Sadie gets better soon. Our youngest is running through the same thing with alternating ear infections and pink eye.
Chad...BOOO! Don't like Everest, what is this world coming to!
Really sorry about Sadie. My wife and I will say a prayer for her. I am sure everything will turn out great.
Good luck tonight. At the meeting .
Getting caught up. Congratulations on the future chair.Sorry to hear Sadie is having problems with ear infections. Elijah had them chronically until he turned 2.
Nice shave with El Jefe...I think I understand where you are coming from as far as aggression vs. efficiency.
IRT the nomination, I'm sure you will find the clarity of thought on whether it is something you wish to pursue, prayers going out to help grease the skids for you.
It's frustrating when the Dr.'s only want to just pump more medication instead of finding out what might possibly be the root cause. We're running into the same issue with our kids, so the best advice I can give is remain steadfast and the answers will come. IMHO, you're doing the right thing, and it's never a bad thing to get a 2nd opinion.
Grand knight sounds mighty important...as long as your interests aren’t ego driven or fueled by a desire to BE mighty important, then you would be running for the right reasons. I assume you would be the youngest Grand Night in your region? Youth can be a powerful tool to reinvigorate an old institution but those old guys (like Dave) don’t always want to follow the young whipper snapper. Good luck.
Enjoy your time with the boy!
Sorry to hear of Sadie's malady. My youngest grandson had re-occurring ear infections that they tried treating for quite a while. He ended up with tubes, and it seemed to have taken care of it.
I think you are doing the right thing Dave. My opinion on the current state of western medicine is much like what Josh @Dagwoodz said above...Docs want to treat everything with a medication and seldom want to get to the root of the cause. Sometimes the best course of action is just let the body heal itself. Get to a specialist when you can...but I doubt more antibiotics is really the best.
Nominated for Grand Knight is a big deal! But it sounds like a lot of responsibility. You have a lot on your plate already...it's a tough decision. I sure you will make the right choice. If you decide to go ahead...I know you will CRUSH it!
Have what sounds like a really good time with Connor!
Nice couple of shaves, Chad. The CBL cream is pretty darn impressive, and I enjoyed using it as well. I've got to round out my Avon aftershave collection. I've got three bottles of Spicy and one of Oland. I really need to get the Island Lime and Tai Winds.
Good shave, Chad.
I hope you have a good day with Connor. Good luck with Sadie and the docs. Good luck also with the big decision.
Thanks Don. So what did you guys end up doing for your son? Tubes? Or just keep treating?

Thanks Don. We are feeling the same way. But was glad her actual pediatrician called today and wants to see her. Instead of one of the Physician Assistants, who are great but sometimes it is better to see the actual doctor for certain answers.
Our son got sent to the ENT because even on the drugs, they kept coming back. He told us that it was probably due to allergies and that the kids that age will often grow out of it. So, we started giving him allergy meds and the ears eventually got better. Now, that being said, down here in East Tennessee, we have a lot more allergens than you do and every kid is different. What worked for my kid may not work for yours. YMMV.
Glad the the Doctor called you back. And definitely glad you all are getting Sadie treated as needed. It's hard to see the little one's in discomfort.
Also...I realized that I called you Dave...If I ever see you...smack me on the head...I wish that on no one!
