Good shave and picture Chad!

The weather here today started out at 5:00am in the mid 30's and is it's 77° now, 13½ hours later or so.

Thanks Craig. Mid 70s is really the perfect temp in my opinion.

Great way to treat LOTH on the Anniversary! 20oz Ribeye! WOWSERS!

I can still taste it!

Straight Shave #176
Razor: Mini Weck
Blade: Persona(3)
Soap: Proraso Green
Brush: Stirling Boar
Aftershave1: T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Proraso Green

Had a great shave today with the Proraso Green, but I must be honest it is getting harder. I am not seeing progress like I did with the cream when I was using the TOBs every other day. I think I will need to weigh it, just so I can see progress, otherwise this experiment will be stopping soon lol. The shave went very well and I did cheat a little bit I grabbed my Injectah that is always loaded and did my clean up with it. I have some big meetings happening at work and I wanted a guaranteed BBS result. I got it.

Homefront:

Well I should have thought something was up last night. Connor came strolling in and climbed into bed at 2 AM with Megan and I, and positioned himself directly under my arm. Then in the middle of the night BOOM his arm flails and hit me right in the adam's apple. That HURT! But then as we were getting ready for work I noticed Megan's eye was red, she said it itched but she thought perhaps allergies. Then Connor woke up, and was upset... his eyes were crusted over! UGH pink eye is in the household. Kids really are disease traps aren't they? So we washed off his eyes and they are inflammed, I feel so bad for him. Then when we told him that he can't go to school he was so mad! Crying, demanding that he can go, and saying that Mrs. Z (his teacher) would miss him and wouldn't know what to do. I guess parenting win so far he likes school. So Megan stayed home also they are going to the doctor to get antibiotics eye drops. Anyways hope you all have a great day and I am hoping I do not contract the pink eye also. Fingers crossed.

Nice shave with the Weck and Proraso Green...sorry to hear about the pink eye for your mini-me. That pops up occasionally in our house back in MO...it's become almost mundane. lol

Exacatly how close do you guys get at these meetings??

Yes, yes they are.

Catching up a bit, Chad - good reads. Although, bummer about the eye issue in the house.

Regarding that CJB kami the other day....I had one of those - it lasted only one shave, then it broke. Glad you got a good one!

Thanks Chris. The CJB I have read are hit and miss. I figured for $20 it was worth the shot. I got lucky I suppose.

Thanks Eric. Sadly it is very contagious too. Not sure how Sadie I survive this one lol.

Nice shave Chad. Tough break about the pink eye

Thanks Don

The 2018 Vargo Pink Eye Scare is in full effect. Sadie came home from my grandma's with it in one eye, Connor has it in both, and Megan's has spread to other eye.

If I don't survive please bury me with my soap!

Razor: Colonial General
Blade: Feather Pro(4)
Soap: Fine American Blend
Brush: Stirling Finest Fan
Aftershave1: T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Fine American Blend

Well today I went to the General, and I must admit something isn't right about this blade. It was tugging so bad! I have never had a pro die this quickly usually I get 8-10 shaves from them. I did the right side of face and called threw the yellow flag, ejected the blade from the game and grabbed my loaded injector with who knows how many shaves on that schick blade. And guess what... the INJECTAH delivered an effortless BBS!!!! Seriously why have other razors? The injectors just work! What a shave that's for sure.

The Fine American Blend was the perfect use today.

Homefront:

Well the 2018 Vargo Pink Eye Scare continues. With the 3 of them infected, both eyes on all 3 of them, it is now every man for themselves. I have survived thus far. I hope I stay clear!

Have a good day cadre!

All caught up Chad. Happy belated anniversary. I wish we had a Ruth's Chris close by. You have really been stacking up the straight razor shaves of late. We too have seen the 80s, followed by snow this spring. We have not really had much of a spring at all this year. I fear that we will have winter, then summer.

Oh man! Time to suit up in hazmat gear! At least you didn't get it with the first round so it's easier to avoid now.

Great audible call for the 'Jectah! Now it's time to stock up on hand sanitizer...multiple bottles per room!

Wowsers, that was some fun catch up, Chad! I am very happy I finally found out where you all have been hiding. I wish I had known sooner, but I understand how things played out. Better late than never!

Great shave. Injectors are almost too easy. Although, they may be the perfect stepping stone to get people into this crazy world of ours.

Thanks Josh. Never had a Feather blade perform like this. It was weird.
