Well sadly I did not get outside to do any yard work. And I am trying my hardest to prevent Megan from setting up plans for this weekend. I want to mow, and put my firepit in. Plus I winterized my sprinklers knowing I have work to do on them, I already bought the parts but it going to require me to do the work. So I really need friday after work, all day saturday, and most of sunday to get everything done that I want to get done. But as you know I hate yard work, so if she says... hey we are going to go here with my brother today...i'll be like sure! that beats mowing. Anyways hope you all have a great monday!

I listen to audio books because I won't make time to read. I find this helps me when I need to do this type of stuff. Then I'm listening to the book and not just thinking about how much the work sucks.

Great shave and picture Chad!

.....I probably broke a rule pairing white wine with steak though lol.

While I do have some knowledge as to what wine goes with what food, I always go back the great Cajun Chef Justin Wilson, "If you want to have red wine with your fish go ahead, the fish is dead, it don't care."

Great shave Chad. I really need to revisit my green tub. I have only used it a couple of times.

Ruth's Chris is one place i used to hear a lot about but never went to. We have done The Melting Pot for our anniversary (I think we did it twice) and found it enjoyable, yes a little pricey but not like a steak house visit.

Good to know the Weck can play nice when it has to. I busted out the Fine for today's shave and plan to use it most of the week, i look forward to the Lavender for ma hommies ...i enjoy that one.

Thanks Dave. I usually listen to a podcast while doing work in the yard.

Y'all are too grown up talking about yardwork! LOL

I guess thats what I get for living in an apartment for so long.

nice shave today Chad...I haven't seen those imitation Kami's before. You said they are comparable (considering the price) to the actual Feathers? Interest is piqued!

My dad had a son so he'd have someone to mow the lawn and help shovel the snow! I don't know how young I was when I was expected to do that. But it seemed too young for sure!

Nice shave today Chad and pairing rule shmairing rule, Do what you like and if it tastes good, eat it and drink it.. Who cares about convention

Thanks Josh. They are called CJB Razors. You can find them on eBay. I bought mine maybe a year ago... probably around $30 or so.

Straight Shave #175
Razor: CJB Kamisori
Blade: Feather Pro(3)
Soap: Fine Clean Vetiver
Brush: Maggard's Synthetic
Aftershave1: T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Fine Clean Vetiver

Today was another Fine day as currently on the odd days I am going through my Fine soaps. The Clean Vetiver is great goodness! I got a very nice shave today, and the Kamisori delivered once again.

Homefront

The weather here has been CRAZY. Seriously yesterday the winds were howling! 80mph gusts reported. All day the wind was out of the south, and temps raised as high as 80 degrees. When I left for home around 4PM local time the winds had shifted from the north as the cold front moved in, and in my 30 min drive home the temps dropped to 58 degrees. Then I woke up to this:

Yup that's snow! UGH!!! Made for a fun drive into work, slippery, thick, and wet! Should be all melted by tomorrow morning. At the house roughly 4 inches.

Have a good day Cadre

And I thought we have had crazy weather lately. Flurries yesterday and high around 70 today. We have nothing on you though.

Well in Utah you can go the mountains and go skiing then take a 2 hour drive south and ride ATVs in the desert. All in one day!
