Love the honey-do lists...even if they do get in the way of a good shave every so often. It's an easy way to stay within the good graces of LOTH. Nice shave today!

It's true always best to keep her on your side.

Finished the fire pit. Might do smores tonight

Razor: Timeless .68 gap
Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock Yellow (2)
Soap: Fine L'Orange Noir
Brush: Fine Stout
Aftershave1: T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Fine L'Orange Noir

Ah... Orange Dirt! What a shave! I am in the zone as of late. Don't want to tempt Murph (throws salt over shoulder) but man it has been easy as of late. I got a great lather and a great shave. I am 3 hours post shave right now, and it is still BBS+ this one seems like it is going to last awhile.

Homefront:

We put the firepit to use yesterday with a very small fire, and roasted left over Peeps. I thought we had Marshmallows but we did not. So S'mores will happen this weekend for SURE! I have wanted the firepit in the back yard since we moved into the house 5 years ago. On our neighborhood watch page when someone posted they had these bricks I jumped on it and picked them up. All I had to pay for was the sand, rocks, and lava rock in the middle and of course devout the work to get it in. I am very happy with the project. Sadly back to work today and hope you all have a great day!

There is a joke there, I know there is, but it escapes me.

A very Fine shave today, Chad!

How did the roasted Peeps turn out?

Thanks Doug. Actually they were VERY good. The sugar on the outside kind of caramelized and they tasted delicious.

Razor: Timeless .68 gap
Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock Yellow (3)
Soap: Proraso Green
Brush: Stirling Finest Bulb
Aftershave1: T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Proraso Green

Ah... the Proraso is definitely dialed in. I am getting great results! After Chris' help (cblindsay) I have about 90 grams of soap left. Going every other day this is going to last a while. But going every other day I am hoping I am fine. We shall see. Anyways todays shave went very well, I am sporting a BBS and ready to tackle the day.

Homefront:

Nothing crazy to report. I am very exhausted today after staying up late and watching the Jazz game. Very exciting game and it is fun to see the Jazz relevant again. Kids are doing good, and knock on wood the Pink Eye Scare of 2018 seems to be coming to a conclusion.

Hope you all have a great day!

Nice shave and set up, Chad. Good to hear that the pink eye outbreak seems to be drawing to a close.

After reading about your every other day adventures, it's motivating me to do likewise. Glad things at home calmed down. Are you finding that the .68 blade gap on the timeless is enough, or do you think .95 would be any better?

Thanks Josh. And to the Timeless. I get great shaves from the .68 gap. But it does take 3 full passes. Trust me I have asked myself countless times if the .95 would do it in 2.5 lol like some other DEs I own. In fact I have had the .95 in the cart a few times... kept saying nah the .68 is good as is... I am sure one day I will hit the buy now.
