Shower Soap: Florida Water

Razor: Rockwell 6s

Blade: Gillette Rubie (1)

Brush: Paladin 26 mm Ebony PK-47

Soap: SBSW Hook

Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla

Aftershave 2: SBSW Hook

Well I wanted a shave after work and shower and the 6s is back in the house so put another new Gillette Rubie Plus in to take it for a stroll. I will still need to see about longevity but I am loving these blades in a big way. Maybe my favorite now but will reserve judgement of a big purchase of them until I get some more uses from them. They are sharp and smooth for sure. Hook got the call for today with the new Paladin PK-47 because I have another choice tomorrow morning for Butterscotch Moe. Tomorrow the wife and I are taking the day t head to Knoxville for a flea Market, Vendors Mall and to grab a couple bottles I seek from a Distillery there. Hope all in the Cadre have a great day and weekend !! Except you Josh, back to the salt mines...............sorry

Razor: Rockwell 6s

Blade: Gillette Rubie (2)

Brush: Paladin 26 mm Butterscotch Moe

Soap: A&E Revolution

Aftershave 1: Thayers Cucumber

Aftershave 2: A&E Revolution

Dave from CA says I can shave twice a day or within 12 hours so...........................with his permission, I did. It's a decision from time to time when I need to shave sometimes in the evening and sometimes in the morning depending on activities planned. Do you shave less then 24 hours since last shave or go nearly 48 hours. My decision varies from time to time but generally opt for the next shave sooner rather then later.

Still VERY impressed with the Rubie Plus blade. The last 2 Paladins I got had zero difference between loft and free loft which gives a little more flop that I was looking for. The downside to these 2 at this setting is they seem to not hold or gather soap as much when loading. This isn't a problem I just need to load longer off the tub and that's what I did before the 2nd pass. I love this soap and scent. Had an astounding shave. I feel and smell good for the play day today with friends. Hoping to find some things in the wild today. 1 thing I thought about while applying the aftershave is the Storybooks Soap Works cheaped out when they used plastic bottles for their aftershave. Shame as I reviewed my stash and think they are the only ones that used plastic bottles. Anyway, just a side thought. Hope all in the Cadre hve a GREAT Saturday whether at work or rest !!

Very Nice Shave today Dave! And I love the shape of your Paladin! You know...I thought the same thing about Storybook and their aftershave bottles. It's almost as if they devalue their product by doing so. I am sure it's a cost thing and I won't judge too harshly.

Have a great outing today looking for flea market stuff and bourbon!

Great back to back shaves. I also wrapped up yesterday with a shave and then started today with a shave. Happy hunting!

Twice in a day? What a manly man!

I go about 24 hours between shaves. I’d probably like to do twice a day, but time affords me only once. I really wouldn’t be shaving much off anyway if I did go for 2.

Rubies are great blades, right now they are duking it out with 7 o'clock Blacks for the #1 slot for me. Despite my problems with DE/SE here lately.

Awesome shave Dave! I think the Rubies are probably my favorite blade ever!

Very nice shave and set up. A&E and Storybook are both great soaps.

Razor: Timeless .68 OC

Blade: Gillette Rubie (2)

Brush: Paladin 26 mm Lime Lotus

Soap: CBL Ghost Lime

Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Marvilla

Aftershave 2: Avon Island Lime

Getting ready for today's Services and wasn't sleeping great so got an early shave. Getting the big haul of Avon AS yesterday had me wanting to get back to the Island Lime and I wanted to use the Lotus again which naturally lead to the Ghost Lime. Great super smooth shave with not a bit of irritation , nor a weeper in sight. Who smells good today ? Dave from Kentucky does folks !! Hope everyone from the Cadre has a Stupendous day !!
