Unfortunately, I'm not impressed by Trade Winds. I don't dislike it but it reminds me of fabric softener.

Yes, any of those "fresh air" "crisp" scents to me smell like laundry and I don't care for them.

Tuesday October 16, 2018 CADRE SHOWER AND SHAVE

Shower Soap: Florida Water

Razor: Timeless .68 OC

Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (6)

Brush: Eric Sorrentino Hybrid w/1/4 Moon Synthetic

Soap: Wholly Kaw Agrumi in Estate

Aftershave 1: Thayers Cucumber

Aftershave 2: Florida Water

I'm labeling this the Cadre Shower and Shave because I got to use so much from members of the Cadre.
So I started before my shave with a nice hot shower with the Forida Water soap from our own GlazedBoker


At first sniff I thought, man this smells good. But comparing to a sniff from the bottle of Florida Water from Doug it seemed different. Oh well, they're both nice so on with the shower. This stuff smells great and lathers great too. Nice stuff and thanks again Amigo Gus and Doug (dekeester)

Shave was with the sample sent by Don of the Dangerous variety of the Agrumi in Estate. This stuff smells citrusy to me and is a great scent. It performs out of this world as I whipped up a yogurty lather with my Eric Sorrentino Hybrid Synthetic that just had an awesome sheen on the face. Nice smooth shave with the Timeless OC for OCtober. It's not from the Cadre but a fair number of them have also shaved with it. The GSB blade on it's 7th shave was getting rough and so got binned after the shave.

After the shave we applied some alum, Thayers Cucumber and topped it off with the Florida Water Cologne........Aaaahhhhh, splashing it on I realize this smells the exact same as the soap. Great Soap and great juice. Great shave ! Thanks Cadre and have a great evening !!
