Bourbon Country Shave Journal - Dave in KY

Razor: Timeless .68 Open Comb

Blade: PolSilver SI (10)

Brush: Eric Sorrentino Hybrid w/Qtr Moon Synthetic

Soap: CBL Premium Cigar Shop Indian

Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla

Aftershave 2: Pinaud Clubman Gents Gin

Back with the Timeless again which i'd be happy with as an everday driver. I my need to sell the scalloped base plate as I just never use it. The Pol Silver is obviously a good one at shave 10. A little bleeder in 2 spots that were pimples clipped and closed up after the dry down. Used the CBL soap that Chris sent and I do enjoy the scent. This shave solidified again how stinking slick this soap is. After a pass and rinse especially is it noticeable that I could do another complete pass soapless....................WHY would anyone do that though with the tons of suds it produces. After the HAM (I'm gonna start acronyming {made that word up} that one - Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla) I topped things off with the Gents Gin as I enjoy it and am trying to get it emptied out of the original container to fill with HOT water to get the label on the hot sauce bottle I decanted to. Hope all in the Cadre have a stupendous day !!

Goooooood morning Dave!! Love the smell of that soap. Sometimes I think if CBL soaps had come out earlier, I might have half the soaps I do now. I find myself thinking of using them daily and have to purposely choose others.

Chris just has too many great scents! I feel like I need them all!

Keep thinking that Chris could have saved you some money...but we all know that you would still be in the same boat!

Morning other Dave, I know. I really wanted to get to Revolution again as I've been craving it but gravitated to this generous gift from Chris this morning in the spur of the moment. I haven't been blessed with the samples over the years like some. I bet it was a fun journey for all. Have a great day

Obviously the scalloped pieces just need to be built into a second razor for display purposes!

Good shave. I’ve been dealing with some stubborn acne spots too. I’m afraid it’s only going to worsted as the holidays approach...so many sweets!

Have a good Sunday my man!

It's not sweets it's that we are young at heart. Actually it's where the cpap seals aggravating issues. Have a good day buddy.

Very nice shave! So with the new acronym, in the future you’ll just say you slapped some ham on your face?

Have a great day Dave!
