LNHC redemption shave success! So glad today’s did good for you. Have a great Sunday!

So Dave, with all the modern DEs you have, is Rockwell your favorite?
Haven't had enough time with them to decide.........they're all loaned out and haven't had that long

I’ve been wanting to get back to this soap and splash again. I loved it the 1st time I used it and then was trying other new ones and you know how it goes. Anyway the scent is awesome and trhe splash although goes on slightly tacky it dries down nice. It’s a light milky consistency not quite as bad as I remember the Storybooks Soapworks but have to revisit them. I love the scent of the Hook I have but remember the splash needs a little tweaking perhaps. So back to this shave. Scent was just as nice as I remembered and got a rich creamy lather going. Just a perfect afternoon shave. Looks like we’re getting closer to 100 members which is exciting even if Chad wasn’t going to shave the goatee. Got stuff coming in today and other things on the way. I do need to scale back buying……….if I would only listen to myself……..

Hope all in the Cadre are having a great day !!

Catching up, Dave.

....this Glide base was slicker then snot. I was extremely impressed with it and wonder if all the scents of Glide are like this or if it was unique to this scent...

I've tried two "Glide" versions, the vetiver one ("Morning Ghost"), and the colonia one. They are strongly scented soaps. I totally dig the Morning Ghost!

As to your choice of going back to carts....do what works best for you. No worries at all!

Great stuff Dave! A&E makes a great soap for sure; they make the shave that much more enjoyable!

Razor: Goodwill #164
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (1)
Brush: Stirling 2 Band Synthetic
Soap: LNHC Doc Holiday
Aftershave 1: Thayers Lavender
Aftershave 2: Pinaud Clubman Citrus Musk

Just a quick entry. The new soap is VERY thirsty as Lisa states on her site. I'm reserving much more til I have some more time with it. Got a great lather though after getting enough water worked into it. I'm too used to the moderns and don't enjoy the old types as much anymore. Too light and aggressive is my thoughts after giving it a run today. Ended with a close shave but not so comfortable. I can shave with them but they require too much thought and care to dial in. May clean house of some and reinvest in I don't know.............................SOAP and AFTERSHAVES

Have a good evening Cadre. Have a meeting and will check in around 9ish

Wait, What? You think the Old Type is too aggressive??? Yet you use the Timeless OC, with no issues? I’ve always found the old types to be comfortable and mild.

Maybe we both aren't finding the angles on those razors. Dave found it on the Timeless................or maybe I was just rushing too much.

Sorry the razor wasn't all that comfortable, but at least the software was good, albeit a bit thirsty. Looking forward to further thoughts on the soap!

Great stuff Dave. I'm all caught up. I enjoyed the video. Im using my new LNHC tomorrow.
