We really don’t like the old fridge, and we would have replaced it soon enough anyway, but the timing could not have been worse. It was a surreal shopping experience to say the least. Now we just have to navigate the delivery and set up, as they might not come into the house. We shall see.

sorry to hear about your mishap too, Sam. Thanks again, Doug. I decided to pony up $20 for 28 injector blades, and they will get here by Monday or Tuesday. I just have the better part of 2 years worth of blades now.

I’ve never really liked fridges that have water and ice machines. They’re a hassle and just don’t seem to do as good as a plain ol pitcher of water in the fridge for cold water and cube trays in the freezer for ice.

Fortunately, everything worked out ok. They removed the old one, brought in and set up the new one and we all did a good practice of social distancing. We even put the tips into envelopes for them

I discovered that we had one actually connected in the old fridge, but never used it.

I know I was just playing around. But if you've already got one it's a pretty simple connection.

We’re going to go without hooking up the ice maker for now, and might connect it later.

We just finished combing through the food (4 year old pickled ginger!) and transferring it to the new fridge. We’re very happy with it. Quiet, energy efficient and far more functional space than the larger capacity one it replaced.

This could have gone so badly.

It’s a good day. The fridge works great and I have loaded my M type adjustable injector with a brand new blade. It is in the on deck circle waiting for April 1.
