beginish’s Eye on a Splintered Mind

I've worked from home for years. Had to toss the Fitbit due to being tired of getting yelled at (and feeling guilty). But don't worry, the fridge calling me all day was almost loud enough to drown out the damned Fitbit.

Of course I am now averaging 3000 steps per day, which I will have to do something about.

I too am working from home now and my steps have been severely limited. That and my gym was literally accross the street from my office so I worked out four or five days a week. Now, I can "hear" my fat cells expanding. I have decided this weekend I am doing a little cleaning off the patio and making a space for a "home gym." I have some very basic stuff and not a lot of weight to go with it. It will do. Plus I can add some body weight workouts with it. Mostly I wouldn't care, but my back is starting to hurt again and the only relief of pain I have found is strength training. That and I plan to expand my walks in the morning. Might even put on a rucksack and put some weights in it while I walk. Then I do have a bike...if it would stop raining!

Oh man...in my current office (at home), I am about six feet from the fridge. If I turn my head ever so slightly...Mr. Frigidare is staring at me.

Injectors are fun, and like cheating almost, they are so easy to use. My one blade February blade is nearing its end and I dug out one of my favorite injectors to use when I can use something else.

Only when I went to order my blades, Amazon tells me they will be delivered on 4/21. Yes, April. I literally just put my last DE blade into the razor. I have stretched blades out before, but this is ridiculous.
I didn’t know there was someone on the TSC without at least 50 blades at home.

If you are interested, I can mail you some blades. I have an extra pack of Chinese Injectors. Just PM me your mailing address. They will probably arrive before April 21.

Ugh, Bob.

We had our pressure cooker's safety valve pop on Sunday; turns out the soup volcano went into the gas control valve for the stove burner and after using it this morning, it stuck open. Turned off the gas and have someone coming tomorrow. Hopefully it's just a few hundred (visit is $99 even if they do nothing) as that's cheaper than a new stove.

Well there’s an unlikely series of events.

Thanks, guys. I’ll make do with what I have. I appreciate the thought.

And the hits keep coming, as my fridge decided to die today. Just back from Lowe’s where we got a returned but still wrapped model for 50% off.
It's no bother to drop a few blades in the mail. I already have bubble mail envelopes. Just say the word, especially if your blade gives up the ghost before your order arrives.
