Antique Store Finds

Long ago I bought two soaps for m PAA, CaD and Lime. The lime had a musty scent, and the CaD was way too powdery for my liking. I never used them, I sold or PIFd them. Haven't tried the soaps since, but I do enjoy their Starcraft brush.
PAA isn't the only artisan soap that had that I have found to have that musty scent either.

You must have one of everything, lol.
Pretty Close!
How is the Vam? Have you used it?
I used it once when I went through a hair tonic phase.... pre-Mohawk. It was one of my least favorite tonics..... very oily. But I guess it depends on what you want it for. If you just want to rub a couple drops in to help condition your hair that’d probably be fine.

I had to pass on buying it. They are very proud of the price they have on it.
Lol'd at that turn of a phrase! No idea how old you are, but those exact words could have come out of my Dad's mouth! Thank you sir for the happy remembrance.

If I came home from buying ANYTHING for myself he'd say something like "I hope you didn't pay more than a few bucks for that." I sure miss that old fart something fierce. Lol, he sure wouldn't know what to think of me buying used razors, or "collecting" aftershave! He'd probably threaten to "kick your arse up between your shoulder blades if you come home with anymore of that crap!"

Is it just me or have we lost most of our ability to have people that we used to refer to as "Characters?" PC was something that so called "Greatest Generation" never fully grasped... And we are the lesser for them leaving us so frequently now, in my proud opinion....

Stores being very proud of what they have is something that I say and hear often. Don’t know where I picked that phrase up, but I guess I should have known it’s been around for a long time.
