My thoughts as well. It was an exciting find for sure.
When I see them they usually have a name or lodge number. That one appears to not. In that case, a very unique find.

Same. I assume it was meant to be customized as the other side is blank.
Based on my research, on the makers mark, this one is from Carl Tielsch made in 1938.
Truly a great find.
Found on Saturday, a nice size for soap storage!
If I show this to my wife....she will lose her mind. Those are for storing jewelry on your night stand. She would frown upon its use as a soap bowl.
My wife frowns at me every time she sees me drag another one home... LOL
I was thinking about trimming down a bar of Arch Brito Mogno, so it'll fit! Classy Italian soap + Jewelry Dish= Luxury , change my mind.

- Gillette Single Ring
- Plastic handled Gillette Tech
- Gillette Old Type with the standard handle split(junk as far as I’m concerned)
- Enders Speed Razor, not sure what to do with it(I’ve heard people have rigged them to shave, but I’ve never tried)
- A super cool BLUE handled Eversharp/Schick! With a really interesting pattern finish. I’ve never seen this one before!
- 6/8+ George Woestenholm & Sons which won’t take much effort to clean up!

Thanks good buddy, I was wondering if it could be a prototype too. With a limited Google search I was only able to come up with about 3 other examples from eBay sales. Granted that’s a small sample size, but I’d wager to bet there were only a few hundred or thousand made. I know there weren’t many or we’d have seen one by now. I’m sure it’ll shave similar to the hydro magic
