Cash was one of my earliest favorites. I think it was Ring of Fire that first caught my ear.
It's funny, I was in a lot of journals yesterday, but apparently not my own.Bruce is catching end-of-the-year holiday lazy fever!

Great song. I have an extensive catalog of Cash discs. IMO, the man was America personified.
He is one person that would've been so much fun to have met and talked to. Yea Bruce you can't get much more "Real" than Johnny Cash.

When I was a young'un, knee high to a grasshopper, my mom says that I used to introduce myself in my young child's fake "deep voice".... "Hello, I'm Johnny Cash."
The winter I moved to Pittsburgh, he played a small venue about 30 miles away. I foolishly let that opportunity to see him perform slip away.
Maybe you watched his ~1969-70 TV show? That was how the show started.
