Another Shaving Journal

We had gravel roads in Cordova, AK in winter '62-63. The first time we sledded there, we got sparks off our runners ever time we hit bare patches. It was so fun we aimed for them. This was after dinner, and it was pretty dark. 2.5 blocks downhill, and if you could cross Main St without getting run over, you might make it to the pier. My brother had to turn into a ditch to avoid being hit by a car once, which his brothers and sister found hysterical.

Loving this combo of software and gear. It continues to deliver excellent shaves.

We got nearly a foot of snow. We lost a large branch off of a pine tree, and some bushes are bending under the weight of the heavy, wet snow. The low branch at the bottom is blocking our driveway.

Chiseled Face's Sherlock is a keeper. Sweet tobacco leaf, and perhaps a hint of licorice and vanilla. Not certain of the last two ingredients, but there is something just a little bit sweet added to the mixture. Love the smell. I switched out brushes about a week ago, but no one noticed.

1970s R&R for you.
