The Bootlegger Willie is on its last leg. I guess beating it down for 2 minutes at a time with boar brush is paying off.



The Wilkinson Sword carries on. No issues to report. I don’t think I’ve really mentioned this, but I haven’t had anything less than DFS+ so far. With a few 3 Names BBS* thrown in as well .

Willie World:
Willie was not having any parts of the freezing rain that’s starting to move in.

Another day spent in Philly. I feel like this part of my journal has been spent complaining about work a lot lately. I need to find a hobby...haha!

Work has been kicking my butt so I’m a little behind. Someone needs to tell the powers that be that I need more time for Cadre related activity!

The Bootlegger Willie may not last another shave. It’ll definitely be done by the end of the week. Just when the lather was getting good too...


The Wilkinson Sword isn’t showing any signs of slowing down. I just realized that I haven’t swapped out razors yet, so I may do that once the Bootlegger Willie is gone.

In Other News...
Pitchers and catchers reported today. It’s finally sinking in that we won’t be making our annual trip to Clearwater this year for Phillies baseball, grouper sandwiches, and the pirate ship booze cruise. A little sad, but hopefully we'll be back next year. Excited to have baseball back though.

What does grouper taste like? Is it a white fish?

Yeah it’s a white fish. It basically tastes like however you cook/season it. It’s not common up here, but it’s on every menu in Clearwater. One of the restaurants we go to down there has their own fishing boat they send out every morning so it’s about as fresh as you can get.

Grouper is a very non-offensive tasting flakey white fish. Every restaurant in Florida seems to sell the fish because there are widely populated in the Gulf. Not to mention they are BIG! I know they are species of Grouper all over the world. Some are even endangered. But man do they taste good.

Plus, you can find them outside of night clubs hoping to get to meet the band.

The Bootlegger Willie is officially dead. There were a few chicklet sized pieces left, but when I tried to smash them together they just broke into smaller pieces. They’ve been sent to the Clown Puke tub since trying to chase chicklets around the tub got me a less than stellar lather today. I had to cut the shave short after 2 passes, however it still ended up being a pretty nice DFS. I think the blade and razor combo, along with the slickness of the Willie helped that.



Willie World:
The snow/ice mix is making walls impossible. I think the cold is also bothering Willie’s back. Hopefully we get some warm weather soon.
